In Part 3, Sir Cuddles attempts to follow the advice of a so-called “bad boy” and become more casual, mysterious, and exciting.

Naturally, this involves a dustbin.

There is mutton fat.
There is yesterday’s gravy.
There is a paper bag hat.
There is dignity — damaged, but not destroyed.

And in the end, Sir Cuddles reminds Thomas that he should not change who he is just because someone else is making questionable choices with pickled-onion crisps.

Sir Cuddles is real, adoptable, and still looking for his forever love.

After Thomas writes to Dear Feline about being called “too formal,” Sir Cuddles reveals that he, too, has suffered for dignity, posture, and perfect evening wear.

In this chapter, we meet Duchess Beatrice, a Persian of exquisite fluffiness, and One-Eyed Nigel, a cat who appears to have been assembled from questionable alleyway decisions.

There is romance.
There is rejection.
There is terrible advice.
There is, regrettably, a dustbin.

It has that quiet woodland magic — glowing light, hidden paths, and the feeling that a cat would absolutely know where the secret doorway is. 🐾
This raffle helps support the cats in our care, including food, vaccines, medical care, spay/neuter surgeries, dentals, enrichment, and the unexpected needs that come with rescue. It also helps us continue the cat-room enrichment plan we began with the previous raffle.

And since it is summer, we also want to gently mention kittens. We are trying to help whenever we can, but our boarding area is not a good place for kittens to grow up. Kittens need handling, playtime, socialization, monitoring, and a safe home environment.
Without foster homes, there is only so much we can do.
So if you have ever thought about fostering — especially kittens — please let us know. Even one foster home can make a real difference.
