Every rescue has a story worth celebrating ❤️ 🐾

Last week was National Feed a Rescue Pup Week (feel free to reach out about how to help if you missed it!), and today we’re celebrating Dogust 1st - the universal birthday for shelter and rescue dogs whose real birthdays are unknown. 🎉

Today, we’re giving a special shoutout to some of our very own staff’s rescue pups and to the incredible rescue organizations working tirelessly to give dogs a second chance. We’re so grateful for partners like One Tail at a Time (One Tail at a Time (OTAT)), One More Dog Rescue (One More Dog Rescue), Dark Horse Dog Rescue (Dark Horse Dogs, NFP), Chicago Rescue Authority (Chicago Rescue Authority), and the many other rescues making a difference every single day.

To everyone that has opened their home and heart to a rescue dog: thank you. Your love gives these pups the fresh start they deserve. ❤️

Let’s talk about the recent price increase and 3% card surcharge, because you deserve to know where that money goes.

Our indoor space is one of the largest in the city. Dogs (and cats) get real room to play and rest, no crating just to dodge Chicago weather.

That pricing lets us staff heavier than most. More hands means safer play groups, more enrichment, and a team that isn’t stretched thin.

It’s also why we have such low turnover. We pay our team well and build careers here, not just shifts. Your dog sees faces they know and trust, not a rotating door of strangers.

That investment is what built our ACE program and Day School Training. It’s also why Puppy Program comes at no extra cost, because young dogs deserve the best start.

We built this together. Thank you for supporting a team that gets to call this a career.
