AKC Breeder of Merit. Lionheart Cane Corso is a small family owned kennel in Northern California. Our puppies are raised in our home, with tender loving care.

We insist on a stable temperament and correct structure according to the Cane Corso standard, in essence a quality Cane Corso of sound mind and body. During the very beginning of my involvement with this wonderful breed, I was fortunate enough to find competent mentors who helped satiate my appetite for knowledge about the Cane Corso. These noteworthy breeders were very generous in sharing their knowledge and experience with me. They helped me understand the very important role breeders undertake, that being today's breeders are the guardians of the future of the Cane Corso. Linoheart Cane Corso breeds only to preserve the best possible qualities of the Cane Corso. We are very active in the conformation show ring, we attend working events, and most importantly we put a large emphasis on the health of our corsi both mentally and physically before they are considered to be breed worthy. We give our puppies the very best possible start in life following a protocol of early stimulation and socialization. We have studied up on breeding better dogs, choosing sires, and choosing puppies for families who we feel will be able to continue to be the guardians of this special breed. The Cane Corso is a large dominant working breed. It is not a breed for everyone. We carefully screen our potential buyers and have a very strict criterion that needs to be met before we place one of our puppies. We as breeders of the Cane Corso are committed to the pursuit of our goal to breed excellent quality Cane Corsi. We plan to continue to immerse ourselves in the world of the Cane Corso which we love so much. We couldn't have had so many accomplishments with our dogs alone; it takes patience, time, family and friends who worked together with us to be the guardians of his great breed. Thank you all!

Eight and a half years ago, you were this tiny, opinionated little thing with a personality ten times your size. I helped bring you into this world, and from day one, you carried yourself like you belonged in the spotlight. You weren’t taught to love the ring — you were born to shine. I bred you with intention, raised you with purpose, and together we built something far bigger than ribbons and titles. You are proof that when passion meets purpose, magic happens.

Elvira, there’s a reason you’ve always stood out. That spark, that presence, that natural confidence — it’s who you are. It’s not just what you do in the ring; it’s the way you shine, the intelligence you carry, and the heart you pour into every single moment. You’re not like any dog I’ve ever had… you’re truly special.

I am endlessly grateful to Mercedes Messer, for believing in her, presenting her so beautifully, and pouring her own heart into this journey. As you said, “No dog is without flaw, but she is perfect — mind, body, and soul.” It takes a team to bring out a dog’s very best, and I could not be more thankful for everything you’ve done for my girl.

✨ 2026 BEST OF OPPOSITE S*X — 150th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show ✨

Watching her shine on that stage, a dog I bred, raised, and love beyond words… that is a feeling I will never forget. 💜💛
