Saddie's Mischief Makers Ferret Sanctuary Located in Cheyenne Wyoming Currently we have 17 ferrets in our care, 8 boys and 9 girls ranging from 7 months to 7 years.

We are a 501c(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on providing a safe and loving environment to ferrets of all ages and medical conditions. Our story began in July of 2020 when we received our first ferret Little Saddie from my brother and within that first year we gained 4 more ferrets. Since 2020 we have gained several more ferrets and lost a few, in those years we have received and provided for a total of 22 ferrets. The safety and welfare of ferrets in our care is our number one priority. It has been a rollercoaster ride these last 4 years with countless hours of sleepless nights caring for those that were sick to taking care of the healthy. Some days are fast paced, and some are more relaxed, but every day is an adventure and there's never a dull moment. Having ferrets is like having a bunch of toddlers in the house and we have shed many tears and laughed a great deal of laughs at their antics. Each ferret has their own unique markings and personalities. We offer free classes on ferrets for those who currently have ferrets, want to get ferrets or just simply want to know more about them. We work closely with our veterinarian to ensure the health and safety of any and all ferrets that come to us. Eventually we will have ferrets for adoption but for now we are simply providing care for the ones that we currently have and those that will come to us in the future. We are a NO KILL sanctuary which means that we will not euthanize a ferret unless they have a medical condition or injury where the quality of life is severely impacted. We will also allow you to come and volunteer with us. During warmer weather you may find us at Holiday Park or Lions Park with all of the ferrets for a walk, please feel free to interact with us. Ok ladies and gentlemen,

here's the deal. We have a gate up across our driveway with a NO TRESSPASSING sign attached to it. Yes we are a nonprofit with ferrets and a dog in our care and while we don't mind if you want to come visit and see the ferrets and we welcome you to do so and ask questions about our business. We also have security cameras installed inside and outside to monitor our property and animals when we are not home. We ask that you please do not show up unannounced, you MUST reach out to us and set up a time to visit. We aren't doing it to be mean, we are doing it to help protect the animals and ensure that they also get time to rest and relax. The cameras do alert us when motion is detected and will record activity, and if someone is found on our property when they aren't authorized to be there the footage will be turned over to law enforcement and once the individual(s) are identified, trespassing charges will be brought.

We hope that everyone understands where we are coming from and we ask that you please respect our guidelines and request. If you have any questions please ask.
