Saddie's Mischief Makers Ferret Sanctuary Located in Cheyenne Wyoming Currently we have 17 ferrets in our care, 8 boys and 9 girls ranging from 7 months to 7 years.

We are a 501c(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on providing a safe and loving environment to ferrets of all ages and medical conditions. Our story began in July of 2020 when we received our first ferret Little Saddie from my brother and within that first year we gained 4 more ferrets. Since 2020 we have gained several more ferrets and lost a few, in those years we have received and provided

for a total of 22 ferrets. The safety and welfare of ferrets in our care is our number one priority. It has been a rollercoaster ride these last 4 years with countless hours of sleepless nights caring for those that were sick to taking care of the healthy. Some days are fast paced, and some are more relaxed, but every day is an adventure and there's never a dull moment. Having ferrets is like having a bunch of toddlers in the house and we have shed many tears and laughed a great deal of laughs at their antics. Each ferret has their own unique markings and personalities. We offer free classes on ferrets for those who currently have ferrets, want to get ferrets or just simply want to know more about them. We work closely with our veterinarian to ensure the health and safety of any and all ferrets that come to us. Eventually we will have ferrets for adoption but for now we are simply providing care for the ones that we currently have and those that will come to us in the future. We are a NO KILL sanctuary which means that we will not euthanize a ferret unless they have a medical condition or injury where the quality of life is severely impacted. We will also allow you to come and volunteer with us. During warmer weather you may find us at Holiday Park or Lions Park with all of the ferrets for a walk, please feel free to interact with us. Running a sanctuary can be hard at times, we spend a lot of time and energy taking care of the ferrets in our care. We spend countless hours feeding, giving meds, cleaning cages, doing fundraisers, vet trips, and even dealing with losses. We have cried many tears over the ones thst have crossed the rainbow bridge, we have also had countless smiles at some of their antics that have also made us laugh as well as stopping to wonder how they did what they did.

There have been many times where I've felt like throwing my hands up and saying I give up, but then I looke at all these little faces and I realize how much they love us and depend on us to give them the love and care they need and to provide a safe warm place to be. They know they are at peace here and they are safe. Watching them come to us, some will be from not so good environment but some will also come to us in good environments too. Seeing them excel and thrive is what makes it worth it and helps keep me going every day. I dont know what I would do with out them, i wake up every morning for them. We have struggled to stay a float, but with the help of our community with donations and support we are able to keep going. With support from our community we are able to provide the care they need and a life they deserve.

Gandalf says, "we did it everyone" we not only hit the 500 mark but we surpassed it by 9. Lets keep it going. As a wish for today gandalf would like to celebrate with his siblings by getting something off the amazon wishlist. We also accept any type of donations as well.

Gandalf also wishes for everyone to have a great day and to pay it forward. Make someone's day a little brighter today, sometimes a simple gesture like a smile, a compliment, holding a door, asking if they are doing ok or even buying someone a cup of coffee or lunch can go a long way.
