Came across this let’s just say… there were a lot of concerning comments.
Some households need a nanny, some need an executive assistant, and some need a household manager. This one needs someone who can be all three, sometimes all at once, and never miss a beat.
📍𝐿𝑂𝐶𝐴𝑇𝐼𝑂𝑁
Nashville, TN (37205), with a move to a newly built home in the Belle Meade area expected in January. Regular travel to family properties in Big Sky, Montana, the Bahamas, and North Palm Beach, Florida.
🏡𝑇𝐻𝐸 𝐹𝐴𝑀𝐼𝐿𝑌
This is a household led by a devoted, high-energy Dad who splits his time between a demanding business schedule and properties in a handful of beautiful places. He co-parents on a set schedule, and the time he has with his kids is protected heavily.
There are three kids in the picture, though their day-to-day presence varies. B17 is a high school junior who drives himself, plays lacrosse (having recently traded in football pads for a lacrosse stick), and carries himself with a steadiness beyond his years. G15 is thriving at boarding school, an academic standout who is detail-oriented, well-liked, and a friend to all. B6.5 is the one at the heart of things. He is a sharp, remarkably articulate little boy who is currently missing a front tooth, newly enrolled in kindergarten, and endlessly curious about the world around him.
There are no pets in the house right now, though that may change down the road. This is a family in a season of transition, and B6.5 in particular benefits from a steady, patient, emotionally present adult who shows up the same way every day.
📋𝑇𝐻𝐸 𝑃𝑂𝑆𝐼𝑇𝐼𝑂𝑁
This role does not fit neatly into one job title. On the days B6.5 is home, you are his person. On the days Dad is traveling for business, you shift into an executive assistant role, managing logistics, keeping the trip running smoothly, and functioning as his right hand. In between, you are the one holding the household together, the person who makes sure nothing slips through the cracks.
The schedule follows a parenting plan, which means some structure and some unpredictability. 9a-5p is a starting point, but don’t get too attached to that. On evenings with events, that can stretch to 10pm, and there is a need for availability for occasional overnights with B6.5 while Dad is traveling. Every other weekend, Thursday through Sunday, is dedicated childcare time for B6.5. Travel with Dad happens regularly, typically for a week to ten days at a time, occasionally longer around the holidays, and a valid passport is required. Being able to change tasks or schedules on a dime is a core requirement of this opportunity.
This is a role for someone who loves variety and welcomes a job where no two days are identical.
🗓️Schedule: 9am to 5pm most weekdays as a loose starting point, with evening flexibility to 10pm or later for events and availability for travel and occasional overnights. Weekend availability required, including dedicated childcare every other Thursday through Sunday.
💰Compensation: $48 to $58 per hour with applicable overtime pay, guaranteed 40 hours per week, plus benefits
✈️Travel: Regular, typically 7 to 10 days at a time, occasionally longer around the holidays. Valid passport required. A family vehicle is provided.
