We have learned over the years that sometimes fear is hard to overcome, but we are patient people.

We believe that handling our dogs with calm, consistent and compassionate care will always achieve what we are looking for- a dog that has new found confidence who is able to see the world in a brand new light.

The problem with that is the time and financial commitment it takes to get there.
For us it will never be the number of dogs we save but the commitment we make to each one so that they find the life they truly deserve
❤️🐾❤️

A thank you to all who work with our dogs especially the trainers who truly love them as much as we do and agree that the ethical treatment of our dogs is most important 🐾🐾

There is nothing more exciting for Roz then a run in the yard 🐾🐾

Roz is doing great in her new foster home - just learning how happy a dog can be to be part of a family ❤️❤️

It’s so nice to see her finally enjoying life as it should be.

We know so much more about her now and we can’t imagine why she gets so little interest !!

Dogs are simple - they will show you who they are when they find love and acceptance ❤️❤️
Enjoy this beautiful day !!

We rescued Milo in May 2023 we expected this tiny little fluffy dog would be an easy placement but that’s not exactly what happened.

Milo was surrendered to the shelter because he smelled and was having accidents. It didn’t surprise us because he was loaded with fleas and had a skin infection.
House breaking proved especially difficult but the worse thing we battled was separation anxiety.

If you follow us you know that we have quite a big and busy forever foster program. His fosters have always wanted to adopt him and have changed their lives to keep him happy but we felt that his care was too much for them to bear.

We took on the veterinary care but they have been footing the bill for training and babysitting all of these years.

Milo can literally never been alone. His health has been a varying degree of issues. One of which has been infections near his privates and on them - our veterinarian suggested an ultrasound. Which we did immediately.
The findings were troublesome and today we did a follow up CT with contrast just to see what we have.

We ask that you keep Milo and his dedicated foster mom and dad in your thoughts and prayers while we wait.

One of our proudest accomplishments as such a small rescue has been our forever foster program and we thank all of our families who have sacrificed so much so that so many special needs dogs get the life they deserve.

A great way to start off our week !!
Toffee adopted !! 👏👏👏👏

Toffee is one of the dogs that was dumped in Sussex County in the middle of the night.
He had a very soft landing in a very devoted foster home.
Although loved, cherished and safe in this home, we knew Toffee needed to fly on his own with a confident dog to show him the ropes.

We posted for a foster and got a response immediately from Allison and her family!!
They were ready to help him move forward - and they were amazing !! Patient and kind 💙💙💙
Kayci their 4 year old pup was ready and waiting to show Toffee just how life could be !!

We are thankful to both foster families for changing this little dogs life and so very happy to announce this foster fail !! 💙💙

Happy life to little Toffee - enjoy every minute of your second chance💙💙
