If you follow us you know that all of our little dogs have ( as we like to call it ) “a little something”
In Flash’s case he is a growler and if pushed too far he will nip!! However if he growls and you leave him alone it goes no further.
The problem we often see with little dogs is that often they are treated differently because they are small. We find a lot of our small dogs are big dogs at heart. They like to do the same things that big dogs do!!!
Hiking and walking are big on Flash’s list !! He is great on leash !! His foster mom has done an excellent job with him too - when we first got him he was peeing all over the place. Now he uses a Wee Wee pad only occasionally when she is at work.
Flash had a pretty traumatic life before we got him - and being dropped off at the shelter didn’t help !! He had such a bad abscess in his mouth that he had a whole in his face that required surgery.
We don’t blame him one bit for growling !! If you can see past the growling you will find a sweet, affectionate dog who will reward you with lots of love.
Although he lives in foster with other dogs a home as an only dog would be best !!
Flash has been with us over a year and we know that there will be someone who will see him as we do -
