Stop buying expensive training treats. Use Cheerios.
Here's why PLAIN Cheerios are perfect for training puppies (and adults):
✅ Tiny calories: 0.3-0.4 calories each
✅ Perfect size: No choking hazard
✅ Cheap: Thousands of pieces for $4
✅ Simple ingredients: Just whole grain oats
✅ Dogs love them
I use them for crate training and teaching "come" with my puppies before they go home. When you're doing high-frequency repetitions, you need a low-calorie reward. Cheerios are perfect.
*Important: Use ONLY plain original Cheerios. No Honey Nut, no flavored varieties. Small amounts only as training treats, not as meals. Always check with your vet with questions or concerns.*
