Here’s #3!!

Meet Sadie! Sadie is a SWEET girl who’s here with her sister for our 6 week College Program to develop skills to set her up for success. She struggles with separation anxiety from her sister, fear, and really enjoys counter surfing. Our goal is to help her be more comfortable alone, feel secure in her environment and not have the need to get on the counters!

She is chugging along in training and making leaps and bounds! We are so proud of her!

Did you get a puppy this summer and want to make sure they start off right? Let us help you with our puppy class!!

🐾 PUPPY SKILLS 🐾

Puppy Skills is a great way to start introducing your puppy to obedience commands and proper socialization. Getting a head start on setting your new furry friend up for success
This class will teach you how to maintain your puppy’s health, help you with a schedule for adequate play/exercise, and will teach you how to keep your puppy safe.
This class will also expose your puppy to new environments and promote safe socialization. Deterring any aggression or handling problems your pup may experience.
We will cover introduction to obedience commands such as sit, down, and come and are offering the option to title your pup through AKC.
To attend your puppy must be between the ages of 8 weeks old – 6 months and have received at least three rounds of puppy shots.
Class starts: Sept 7th at 5:30 pm
This is a 6 week course meeting for 1.5 hours
Cost: $250

What does a well balanced dog look like to you? What does a dog who sees the good in life look like? What about a dog who is resilient and enjoys learning new things? What about a dog who naturally doesn’t need to be told what to do?

That’s what our Unleashed Life Skills class is going to create! Our goal with this class is to go BEYOND training and to help your dog make the right decisions, naturally. To help them look for the positives in the world, and to enjoy things life throws at them!

Of course we teach some obedience, but it isn’t our focus! We are teaching solid, confident dogs who don’t NEED obedience! Drop the idea that making a dog hold place will stop them from jumping on guests. Why not just teach the dog that they don’t need to jump on guests?

Sign up now! This is a 6 week class starting September 7th (Labor Day) at 7pm for $250. We meet for 1 hour every week!

Kids went back to school… and now your pups are inside for long periods and go CRAZY when you get home. They run laps, zoom around, bark, jump off the couches- let’s give them something to do!

Our beginner agility class starts September 9th at 6pm! This is a 6 week class learning ALL the basics of agility, for fun OR competition! We learn important foundations for off leash, consistent agility runs! For 1 hour, your pup will be tired, mentally fulfilled AND learning new skills.

Guess what…. ANOTHER ENGLISH CREAM!

Meet Yeti! Yeti is a young English Cream who struggles with Resource Guarding. He is here for our 6 week College Program to get a good foundation on handling his difficulties sharing. Fortunately, he is young so it will be easier as the behavior has been less practiced due to age.

Yeti is happy-go-lucky and very environmentally confident. I can’t wait to see the amazing transformation!

Bear with me on this weeks introductions… we have 4 English cream goldens.. all within 6 months of eachother!!

MEET OPAL! Opal is a very sweet, very loved Golden Retriever who struggles with fear and anxiety. Sound familiar? When we say we specialize in fear and anxiety, we’re not lying!

With the help of our Results Based Board and Train, Opal is already coming out of her shell and learning the world is amazing.

We don’t just teach them to behave better. We teach them how to FEEL better about life AND how to be resilient. Resilience is such an important skill for animals (and humans) to have. We want Opal to know that just because something scary happens, she doesn’t need to hold onto that baggage for the rest of the day and be a pessimist about it!

Opal- I can’t wait to watch your progress! 🐾

🐾TRAINING TIP TUESDAY🐾
Dogs are looking to you for a relationship. Dogs WANT to be with you, and WANT to spend time with you. However, it is just as important that we teach them to be okay WITHOUT you. It’s so important that dogs enjoy time alone, and we might need to teach them to enjoy it! That starts as a young puppy.

Give them something to do while in their crate. This helps them calm their mind. Help them with food reinforcement for relaxation away from you. Teach them to settle on a place cot or back tie.

These little steps as a puppy (as any age) with GREATLY increase your pups life skills❤️🐾

Now introducing our NEWEST group class!! (Replacing the continuous cgc class)

🐾LIFE SKILLS🐾

Our Life Skills class will teach you and your dog the skill set to be a well behaved member in society.
Focusing on basic obedience commands and handling techniques, we will cover proper ownership and how to set your dog up for success. Learning real world skills to go beyond training for you and your dog. You will train in a group like setting and receive weekly homework to practice at home. Recommended for dogs 6 months and older or have attended puppy class!
Start date:Sept 7th at 7pm
Duration: 6 Weeks meeting for 1 hour
Cost: $250.00
