Finalizing keepers and availability on these does in the coming weeks 💙

It’s been radio silence 📻 but I’ve finally hit the evening before a day off from the pharmacy and gotten to spend some meaningful time getting the new crittery room further into shape.

Currently lacking a proper photo station for the lightbox, but here are Olive’s youngsters with fur and pigment having come in! Dam is a black berskhire, but their sire’s agouti completely took over the entirely litter of 7!

Things are still very hectic from the move - as it’s been back to a full work week. Please bear with me as I plan to catch up on messages and applications this Friday! 💙

Crittery Public Service Announcement! We’re moving! (albeit just across the neighborhood) this Friday through the weekend, and I will be largely unavailable for messaging and questions as we get everything packed, hauled, and re-situated.

Pickups scheduled this Saturday will proceed as normal, and adopters coming will receive the pickup address from me by end of day tomorrow.

Pupdate! I’ve been like a chicken with my head lopped off this week - but here are finally the debut shots of Olive’s second litter! At a whopping 7 pups for a little lady, she’s receiving a bounty of additional forage mix with increased protein.

Peach has not yet given birth. Her due date was a few days after Olive’s, so a slight gap between litters was to be expected - however it has recently appeared she may have reabsorbed her pregnancy. While disappointing, this may be in her best interest has she has of the past 36 hours developed a yet-unrelated head tilt of which we are working to determine the nature (ear infection, neurological, etc), outlook, and treatment, and Peach’s wellbeing comes first and foremost.

CWC Olive delivered a total of 7 pups in the early morning and by 6am had each full with milkbands! We'll take a s*x count and grab a few photos over the next couple of days.

We’ve officially entered the window of expecting for both of these lovely ladies! This will be Olive’s second litter, and Peach’s first - both from Jack. Peach’s pairing is primarily a confirmation of temperament and consistency through tight linebreeding - availability is hoped for, but not guaranteed!

Dapper Dipper 💙 It is so much fun glancing back at how little our breeders used to be.

Sometimes I’ve gotta look myself in the mirror and say, “Marelle, you’ve got too many bucks.” A few boys will be posted tomorrow, this Saturday, with a home date of 9/19 🏡
