Since 1974, the Humane Society of Walden has acted as a bridge between homelessness and forever homes for the thousands of animals who walk through our doors every year. We provide food, shelter, medical, and compassion for the animals in our care while we seek permanent placement for them with loving adopters.

⚠️GROSS PHOTOS BELOW ⚠️

We need your help! Meet Tina and Tracy, two dachshund dogs who recently found their way to the Humane Society of Walden. These two pups are not just any dogs; they are a source of daily warmth for us. Tracy is the outgoing one, full of love and affection, while Tina is a bit more reserved and shy. Every day, they remind us of the incredible resilience and love that animals can offer.

But here's where they need us the most: Tina and Tracy are suffering from severe dental problems, causing them immense pain and discomfort. We can't let them continue to suffer.

The estimated cost for both of their much-needed dental procedures is almost $3000. This is a significant financial burden for our shelter, and that's why we are turning to our wonderful community for support.

Every dollar counts, and your support will ensure that Tina and Tracy receive the emergency dental care they urgently need. Time is of the essence to relieve their pain and discomfort, so please consider contributing today.

🎉 Exciting News: Our Original page is Back! 🎊

We're thrilled to announce a major milestone in our journey – the return of our original page! 🌟

Last August, in 2022, we faced an unexpected challenge when we lost access to our page, along with the incredible community of over 15,000 followers that had grown with us over the years. We embarked on a new chapter, creating a brand new page from the ground up, and you, our amazing supporters, stood by us every step of the way. 🙏❤️

For an entire year, we tirelessly contacted Facebook in the hopes of regaining access to our cherished page. During this time, our new page continued to flourish, thanks to your unwavering support and engagement. 🚀

As if by fate, almost exactly one year after we initially lost access, Facebook granted us access to our original page! 🥳

So, what's next? We're not saying goodbye to the new page; instead, we're merging the two into one spectacular community hub! We can't express enough how grateful we are to each and every one of you for sticking with us throughout this journey. Your support is the driving force behind everything we do, and we can't wait to continue this incredible adventure together on our reunited page.
