We are back from gallivanting around Texas and Arkansas. We had Ruby patiently waiting for us to come pick her up! Ruby lives an hour and ten minutes away , but her mama prefers a commute if it means a home like setting for Ruby.

No one told me I could, but they also didn’t tell me I couldn’t.

Indy had the zooms last night and ran laps in the cabin for a ridiculous amount of time. We are building our house on our property and live in a teeny hunting cabin in the meantime. Our visitors do not mind it being a small space. There’s still plenty of room for running laps .

At 0300, when the night shift was really night shifting, I looked over to see Mask straight up snoozing. He did go home for a few days but his mama dropped him back off yesterday so she could travel for work. I wish I could have swapped places with him for just a quick snooze! *** unlike boarding facilities, I do not have designated drop off/pick up times. Since mask had been here before, his mama dropped him off Sunday at 0630 while I was still asleep. She tucked him into my office building and I checked on him when I got up at 0745 for church. Even though it’s a drive , those flexible pick up /drop off times are convenient. I have some families that often land very late at Monroe airport and then they drive here at like 0100. I work nights, so it’s loosey goosey over here.

Y’all know the unpaid employee likes to grumble about me and all my dogs… look at the joy on his face. This is Shadows first visit and she has made us all so happy!
