On January 20th Mike Calinoff hosted 92 dogs and 116 humans for his annual Doglogics Gold Star Awards and Celebration Party. This coveted event is for clients who have gone over and above with their training program. The packed extravaganza was held at . Where the celebrants enjoyed the awards ceremony, a buffet for humans and dogs, professional photos, gift cards, a swag bag and more.

Got a new puppy?
 That was a good idea. 🤪

Here are three simple things that will actually help save your sanity.

Number one — have that puppy in a cheap harness and leash anytime they’re loose in the house.
I call it the Chaos Cord.

This gives you a way to step in calmly when they’re going nuts, stealing socks, or suddenly deciding the cat looks suspicious.

Number two — get an exercise pen and put the crate right inside it.
This gives them a little freedom to play, chew, and settle — while you do normal life things like cooking, cleaning, or finally getting to the laundry. 

They have their house. They have a yard. You have fewer problems.

Number three — tethering.
This one is very underrated. But I love it!

Take your Chaos Cord and clip it to a sofa leg or something solid.

Your puppy still gets to be part of everyday life — hanging with the family — just with limits.

Less freedom now means more freedom later.
You’re not being mean — you’re being smart.
