It was heartbreakingā€¦ a tiny black mama, alone, giving birth to 11 puppiesā€”10 of them girls. šŸ’”

Abandoning a pregnant dog leads to moments like this. It didnā€™t have to happen.

She hid in a broken cabinet, shielding her babies from the cold, holding on with everything she had. Kind people fed her, and somehow, they survived.

Update: she made it through the night, but just barely. Her blood sugar dropped to 28, and she remains in critical condition. She canā€™t regulate her temperature or glucose and depends on the incubator and constant drips to survive.

Sheā€™s fighting chronic illness and anemia, needing another transfusion today.

Update: He came in not eating, extremely weak and skeletal, with painful mouth ulcers. Tests showed severe kidney issues, and his life felt so fragile.

We rushed him to the clinicā€¦ and somehow, he held on.

After treatment, his values improved. Not stable, but better. I truly thought he was giving up, yet heā€™s still fighting.

She was found alone on Frank-hegy, heavily pregnantā€¦ and within 3 days, she gave birth on the streets šŸ’”
We couldnā€™t take that away from her ā€” it would be cruelty.

Now her tiny kittens depend on hopeā€¦ and on us.

Weak, wounded, covered in infectionā€”yet still fighting. Today was his first medicated bath, the first step toward a life heā€™s always deserved.

Update: Like a true little hero, he has beaten the cyclops. šŸ’”šŸ¾
Two vertebral fractures once meant a death sentence, but his will to live is stronger. With treatment and anti-inflammatories, his nervous system is slowly breathing again, giving him a real chance.
