Today is a perfect day to celebrate domestic rabbits and to remind people that rabbits are so much more than “easy” pets.

🌿 They need unlimited hay and a proper diet.
🏡 They need space to hop, run, explore and play.
🩺 They are experts at hiding illness, so changes in eating or pooping can be an emergency.
✂️ Spaying and neutering are important for their health and well-being.
❤️ Many rabbits are happiest with a bonded companion.
🐰 And they can be a 10+ year commitment.

Rabbits are intelligent, social, affectionate little souls who deserve the same love, veterinary care and commitment we give to any other companion animal.

So today, hug your bunny a little tighter and if you’ve never shared your life with one, take a moment to learn about what they truly need. 🥰

Socks!

1.5 years old female, spayed, litter box trained, microchipped

Socks is very sweet, a little bit shy at first but a quick learner and gets comfy quickly with people and her space. Very clean, never had issues with litter training or major messes. Loves to eat, and really loves strawberries for a treat.

She would do well in a quieter, calm home. No cats.

Biscuit!

Biscuit is an incredibly sweet bunny who is looking for a family willing to see past his wobbliness and love him for exactly who he is. Biscuit has some unknown issues that causes him to be wobbly, and because of this, he will need a special home that can provide patience, understanding, and a safe environment where he can thrive.

Biscuit is one of the sweetest boys you’ll ever meet. He is easy to handle, gentle, and simply wants to be loved. He deserves someone who will give him the extra care he needs and, most importantly, show him that being a little different doesn't make him any less deserving of a forever home.

Biscuit is not fully litterbox trained. He wears a diaper while free roaming. He currently receives acupuncture every 2 weeks for his wobbliness. We have seen great improvement with this treatment.
