Have we shown you guys Beetlejuice yet? 😂

Genevieve LOVES him. And by loves him, we mean she absolutely loves to beat him up. 😂

He’s such a great toy for kittens with mobility challenges. We highly recommend these suction-cup spring toys! Gigi is having a blast — she runs and runs, then comes right back to swat at him again. 🥹💗

You’d never know it by looking at this happy girl, but her white blood cell count (her infection-fighting cells) is still crazy high — around 30,000. So we’re trying another antibiotic, and they put more medication in her ears, which means we’re still not allowed to clean them. And let me tell you… that is driving her mom CRAZY because those ears can look pretty yucky sometimes. 😂

But we’re believing that in two weeks, that WBC is going to be PERFECT! 🙌

For now, Gigi is still taking it easy with limited travel and keeping the wild kitten mayhem somewhat under control. But over the last few days, we’ve seen such a HUGE improvement. She still naps a lot, but when she wakes up? She plays HARD. And she’s eating wonderfully — because apparently Genevieve has never met a meal she didn’t like. 😂

Our girl is fighting, playing, eating, and making us smile. ❤️

These sweet snugglers are Bug and Summer. Two of the best behaved kittens you could hope for. Bug is Summer’s adopted little bro but yet he grooms and cares for Summer like it’s his job. The rest of the time they’re running laps and pouncing their foster bro, Finn.

Bug knows that Summer is about to have a big surgery and that he will need good nutrition to keep his strength up. He’s hoping for some Iams dry kitten food, fancy feast kitten wet food, and some snuggly pads or beds to keep his bro comfy cozy during recovery.

He can’t drive yet, or shop on line, so he’s hoping someone will help him out. To send Summer and Bug their favorite foods please use the links below.

💔 This post has been incredibly hard to write.

Even though these words have been spinning around in my head for a week, in so many different ways, none of them seem to do Jay—or this loss—justice.

So today, through heavier tears than I should probably admit, I have to tell you that one week ago today, we lost our beloved Jay.

We lost the most spunky, snuggly, fluffy, silly little firecracker of a kitten we could ever have hoped to love. Jay passed so unexpectedly. She was perfect, with absolutely no signs that anything was wrong. We believe a heart condition presented for the very first time as her passing. There was simply no warning at all.

And when we say Jay fit a whole lot of life into that tiny body, we could talk for hours of examples. She had energy for days, a personality bigger than life, and a way of making herself impossible not to love.

Her brother Tornado was lost without her. But in the middle of this heartbreak, we were given a little rainbow: Tornado and Goosey have now found the most perfect home together. Together forever!! Knowing they are safe, loved, and together brings us some comfort though the hurt is still there.

Jay, we miss you more than words can say. Please know how very loved you were. So many hearts are hurting because you were here, and because you mattered!

You left a very big hole in our hearts, sweet girl. 💔

Rest easy, Jay. Your brothers are going to be okay together. And you don’t have to deal with that stinky gravity anymore. ❤️

Fly high, sweet Jay. You will forever be loved and missed. 🌈🐾

Tonight our hearts are breaking for our sweet Summer. 💔

Despite hopes that we could save his leg after nerve damage, his leg is too contracted, and amputation is the best option for his future.

While we know this little fighter is going to be just fine with 3 legs, we’re grieving what might have been and disappointed that he’ll need to go through a surgery.
