As you all know, we will not be having any puppies in the near future. I know several of you were anticipating another pup from us, however I HIGHLY recommend if you are still searching for a Labrador to add to your family, reach out to Remember Me Labradors to get on their waitlist for this litter. We have been blessed with to meet so many amazing families over the years & gain friendships all over our common love for Labradors.

On my birthday, August 2nd, we received both Cushion and Nitros genetic testing back. All of the boxes had been checked for us to announce our plans of breeding Cushion late August’s/early September. It was the best birthday present I could’ve asked for!

We were excited for many reasons. It’s been 2+ years since we have had a litter. We had multiple people reaching out ready to add to their families. Everything felt like perfect timing…. Until it wasn’t.

Thursday August 14th, we unexpectedly lost our dear Cushion. She took her last breath in my arms.

At this time we are just asking for respect and space to let us grieve this tragedy and take time as a family to get through this difficult time.

Cushion was more than our next in line to produce puppies, she was my best friend. I was looking forward to being able to bless some of you with the amazing love she brought to our family, however God had other plans.

While we don’t understand them now, and may never know why. We are standing firm in our faith and knowing God’s plan is higher and better than ours & we will praise him in this storm. Maybe he was protecting her or us from something that could have been had we followed our plans. Maybe he is using this to speak to someone else, again we may never know, and that’s Ok.

I want to apologize to anyone who was planning on getting a puppy off of that litter, but unfortunately this was out of our control.

Let this serve as a reminder to live everyday to your fullest. Love those around you hard. You never know when you or those around you may take their last breath.

Nitro is available for stud service to approved females. We do not know our future plans with breeding at this time. We are just going to take our time to navigate this tragedy and when we feel ready we will have those discussions.

Please keep our other labs in your thoughts and prayers as we can tell they are grieving the loss of her as well.

They are more than dogs, they are family!

It’s official! We have a planned breeding coming to you this fall!

Phatmax’s Racing on the Cushion will be bred to Phatmax’s Burning Nitro when she comes into season in the upcoming months.

Cushion received her OFA results back with normal elbows and good hips. Her genetic testing came back clear. She is a carrier of EIC (exercise induced collapse), but not affected and will not produce affected dogs when bred to a male who is not a carrier. She is also dilute free.

Nitro received his OFA results back with normal elbows and good hips. His genetic testing came back clear and he is not a carrier of any risks. He is also dilute free.

We are excited for this paring and expect to have black and yellow pups, with a slim possibility of chocolates based on their genetic results.

Nitro is the son of Phatmax’s Banks McGee and Phatmax’s Tequila Sunrise.

Cushion came to us from Remember Me Labradors - Waylon and Brook.

Both are registered via AKC.

Once they have officially been bred we will update with a better idea of an expected due date!
