Hello friends!
I personally know the family that is organizing the TTAC fundraiser below. We talk daily via star-link to actual families that have been affected by hurricane Helene. This is a legitimate fund raising effort to get items to the real people in true need.
Because there’s been talk of supplies, not reaching actual families in need, they are organizing this fundraiser to bring supplies directly to specific areas of green mountain and NC mountain community vicinities that are in desperate 🙏 need of basic supplies, such as generators, extension cords, small propane stoves, kerosene, gasoline, ATV vehicles to move supplies in areas where the roads are so devastated that you can only use ATV vehicle to transport. The weather forecasts nights dropping into the 30s next week 🥶in the mountains and some of these people without electricity are going to need these essentials to stay warm. 🔥
If you are considering donating 😇 to assist families still desperately in need of basics, I am personally assisting in making sure all the supplies go directly to the REAL residents and are not lost or misappropriated to another location.
If you are warm and comfortable in your home, 🏡 please consider these families that are still suffering.
