Congratulations 🎉🍾 🎊 ‼️🐾😻💕💪We are beyond proud of you and honored to have partnered in a tiny piece of those numbers!!!! Here’s to the next 10,000!!!

For those who have been with us during this 11-year journey, you will understand how much emotion is behind thIs post.

We did it. Our tiny, determined group of volunteers did it!

We found a way to help fund and assist with spay and neuter for 10,000 cats.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our history.

Some days you’re reminded just how strong, amazing, and incredible the village really is. ❤️

Today was one of those days.
Rowan Neuter Scooter
Rowan County Animal Shelter
Lake Norman Lucky Cat
Sunkissed Acres NC
Cat Smart Coalition
And Community Pets

All together. All working toward the same goal. All showing up for the animals and for each other. 🐾

And somehow, in the middle of the chaos, there were smiles, hugs, laughter… and candy. 😂❤️

That’s what makes this work so special. It isn’t just about spaying and neutering. It’s about people who care deeply enough to show up, roll up their sleeves, help wherever they’re needed, and make the hard days a little lighter for everyone.

There is so much strength in this village. So much heart. So much good.

Together, we are changing the future.
And today was a beautiful reminder that we don’t have to do it alone. 🐾❤️

I’m incredibly grateful for every single person who showed up today.

This village is STRONG. And it is AMAZING. And it is absolutely INCREDIBLE. ❤️

Much love and gratitude,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Love,
Dr. Welch

Today was one of those days where you realize just how lucky you are to have the right people in your corner. ❤️

The Humane Society of Wilkes lives by Paws. People. Purpose. — and today, they showed us exactly what that means.

When we found ourselves in a bit of a “well…now what?” situation down some staff members, they showed up in a jiffy and jumped right in to help. Together, we were able to get 35 pets spayed and neutered today. 🐾

We truly could not have done it without them.

This is what community looks like. People stepping up, helping each other, and making sure the animals still get what they need even when the day doesn’t go according to plan.

Crisis management: managed. ✅
35 pets: fixed. ✅
Amazing partners: priceless. ❤️

Thank you, Humane Society of Wilkes, for always showing up when it matters. Paws. People. Purpose. — today, you were all three. 🐾❤️

Special shout out to their new Executive Director for being a part of the action first hand and not batting an eye with every request that was made. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!

🐾 WE’RE HIRING! 🐾

Community Pets Mobile Veterinary Clinic is looking for a veterinary technician to join our team!

If you love animals, enjoy a fast-paced day, and want to do work that actually makes a difference, you might be our kind of person!

We are looking for someone who:
🐱 Has veterinary and preferably spay/neuter experience
💉 Is comfortable with anesthesia, surgery and patient care
💪 Can work hard and keep up when the day gets a little wild
😂 Can laugh through the organized chaos
❤️ And most importantly, wants to be part of something that really matters

Community Pets is a small mobile clinic doing BIG things for pets and their people across North Carolina. We work hard, fix a LOT of animals, occasionally have more cats than we know what to do with 😹, and get to see firsthand the difference affordable veterinary care can make.

We want someone who is dependable, compassionate, hardworking and ready to become an important part of the team.

If that sounds like you — we want to hear from you!

📩 Message us or email [email protected] to apply.

🐾 Prevention is Powerful. Together we’re changing the future.

Happy Feral Cat Awareness Day. Cannot think of a better way than spending it with our friends at Cat Smart Coalition and fixing 30 more cats! 🐈‍⬛

🐱🍳 BEST. TNR. STORY. IN A WHILE. 😂

Sometimes cats outsmart the traps on TNR day, leaving our clinics a little “short” on cats to spay and neuter. But Rowan Neuter Scooter? NEVER a problem! Their network is so amazing that someone ALWAYS knows someone who has trapped a cat or can catch one in a hurry.

Today was no exception! 🙌

Our longtime friend Beth King, trapper extraordinaire, made a quick trip to McDonald’s down the street and came back with BISCUIT AND HASHBROWN! 🥞🐈

Not fast food… FAST-TRAPPED CATS! 😂😂

Now THAT is what we call a breakfast run with a purpose! These two are off the streets, spayed and neutered, and one step closer to a better future. ❤️🐾

Rowan County, y’all are a whole different breed of dedicated! We love this community and the lengths you’ll go to get these cats fixed!

🍂 A GREAT Monday in Mount Airy!! 🐾

Female-heavy, just like we like it! 😂💕 But every single one is now FIXED & FABULOUS and ready to enjoy this fall season without adding to the kitten chaos! 🍁🐱

Big thanks to our friends, Pawsome Solutions for another great day of teamwork. When we work together, we make a difference that lasts far beyond today!

Prevention is Powerful, y’all! 🧡✂️🐾
Spay Neuter is the solution!

❤️ TODAY, WE’RE BRAGGING ON ANSON COUNTY! ❤️

We spayed and neutered 33 cats today, then stuck around for a rabies clinic that was nothing short of AMAZING! In just 1 hour and 40 minutes, this community showed up BIG!

🐾 177 rabies vaccines
🐾 75 dog distemper vaccines
🐾 31 cat distemper vaccines
🐾 35+ microchips

But as impressive as those numbers are, the real bragging rights belong to the Friends of Anson County Animal Shelter. ❤️

We want to brag on the people who show up, roll up their sleeves, and pour their hearts into the animals and families in their little rural community. The people who work hard behind the scenes, care deeply about the animals in their county, and understand that making a difference takes a whole community working together.

Today was about so much more than vaccines, surgeries, and microchips. It was about a shelter team that CARES, a community that SHOWS UP, and a whole lot of animals who are better off because of it. 🐶🐱

WAY TO GO, ANSON COUNTY! You should be proud of your shelter team, because we sure are! 👏❤️

Prevention is Powerful. And when a community comes together, AMAZING things happen! 🐾

🐾 It’s ALWAYS a good day to spay and neuter, but it’s an EXTRA great day when we welcome new partners to the team! 🎉🐱

We were thrilled to welcome Shelter Pet Adoption Center - Huntersville alongside Lake Norman Lucky Cat, Cats of Davidson, Feline Network Rescue INC of North Carolina and Sunkissed Acres NC! 💚

Because that’s what it’s ALL about — collaboration, community, and volunteers coming together to get more animals fixed! Every partner, every volunteer, every surgery adds up to a BIG impact for the animals who need us. 🐾✂️

More teamwork. More lives changed. Fewer unwanted litters. THAT’S how we make a difference! 🙌🐈

🎃🐈‍⬛ SPOOTACULAR Wednesday! 🐈‍⬛🎃

It’s brisk. It’s October. And Rowan Neuter Scooter brought us ALL THE CATS. 😂

Apparently, nothing says fall is here quite like a truck full of cats getting snipped. 🍂✂️🐱

Rowan County understood the assignment.
Let’s get this spootacular party started! 👻🐾
