As a little introduction to Tilley Animal Village, I'd like you to know a little bit more about who is taking care of your animals! Animals and rescue pets have always been a passion of mine as well as entrepreneurship. Since I was young Iโve always loved animals โ both learning about and taking care of them. I had my first cat (Maggie) at the age of three and adopted my first dog (May) my senior year of high school. Since then I have adopted and rescued over 35 animals. From pigs, chickens, goats, fish, mice, dogs, cats, and many more, I've gained the love and friendship from many fur babies! Me and my husband currently have several fur-babies in our home consisting of 6 chickens, 3 pigs, 2 goats, 4 indoor dogs, 3 mice, 2 goldfish, and 17 indoor cats (all rescues) that I care for on a daily basis and are our family! ; so trust me when I say no job is too big! I briefly studied to be a Vet Tech and have worked in several vet locations and animal boarding facilities around the NC area. I have cared for others pets since the age of 13 and have loved every second of it! I began Tilley Animal Village officially in 2018 after graduating from UNCC with a communications degree and always knowing I wanted to run my own business. After graduation I had the opportunity to share my love of animals with my clients and pet owners all over the Charlotte, Mooresville and Huntersville area and have proudly become an LLC.
I specialize in all animal breeds (especially rescues who can be sometimes timid) as well as puppies, kittens, senior dogs/cats, applying medication or giving medications, insulin shots, pets with epilepsy, bottle-feeding newborns, as well as after surgery care and many other pets in need of special care! On top of being the owner of Tilley Animal Village I am in the process of getting a non-profit animal rescue called "Maggie Mayflower Rescue" approved by the IRS and hopefully up and running by the end of 2019! Now that you know a little more about me, I hope I get the chance to meet your lovely pets and care for them soon! For more info, please visit the website! Tilleyanimalvillage.com
