September is looking BUSY for Woof And Whisk! 🐾🎉 We have four amazing events coming up this month and we seriously can’t wait to get out into the community, meet so many new pet parents and see some familiar furry faces again! 🐶✨

Behind the scenes, we’ve also been working HARD to take the final steps toward getting our dog treats back up and running! From recipe testing and paperwork submission to getting our kitchen finalized, there has been so much happening that you haven’t gotten to see yet and we cannot wait to finally share it all with you! 🥹🦴 Until then come find us this September, build your pup a custom beaded collar, grab some free treat samples and say hi! 🤍

🍂 FALL BANDANAS ARE HERE! 🐾🤎
Our fall fabrics have officially arrived, I may be a little biased… but these might be some of my favorites yet🥹🍁 From cozy flannels to fun fall prints, there’s something for every pup heading into sweater weather!

We also wanted to share a little reminder about the goal behind every bandana being sold right now! We started with a goal of selling 25 bandanas and we still have 21 to go! Each purchase is helping Woof And Whisk take the next steps toward getting our treats back! That involves helping fund our recipe testing, paperwork and registration fees, kitchen inspections and the upfront cost to begin our commercial kitchen contract🧁🐾

This process is a BIG investment for our small business, but we’re determined to do it the right way!Every bandana purchased gets us one step closer to being back in the kitchen baking for your pups again👏🏼 So if your pup needs a little fall wardrobe refresh… now is the perfect excuse😉🍂

Woof And Whisk is SO excited to be a part of the 3rd Annual Paws & Adopt Pet Palooza on Saturday, September 19th! We can’t wait for an afternoon filled with our amazing pet loving community, local rescues, pet vendors and LOTS of adorable adoptable pups looking for their forever homes! 🐶🏡

A huge shoutout to Sally Said So Professional Dog Training for sponsoring this year’s event! 🐕🎓 They’ll also be working with the adoptable pups and providing training to help set them up for success. how amazing is that?! 💕👏 We’re also working on putting together a special Woof And Whisk raffle basket to help raise money for the participating rescues! 🎟️🎁 Keep an eye out for our TikTok this week as we put it all together and show you what’s going inside! 👀🐾

Woof And Whisk was invited to pop up at Tropi Market at Gym Tacos this Saturday, September 5th from 4–9 PM, and I’m SO excited for our first time attending! 🥹🐶

I’ll be bringing our Build Your Own Beaded Dog Collars with tons of bead options so you can design something completely customized for your pup! 💕 Pick your colors, choose your beads, and I’ll make your collar right there while you shop around and enjoy the market! There will be local vendors, coffee & matcha, a live DJ, food & drink specials and personally, I cannot wait to FINALLY try Gym Tacos 😂🌮

A little behind the scenes update from Woof And Whisk 🐾🎉 We are still working hard to bring our homemade treats back but this process has taught me just how much goes into doing things the right way. Right now, one of our biggest focuses is simplifying our recipes and menu! Even though some of our pupcakes are made from the same recipe and simply offered in different sizes, each product/size can mean additional testing and expenses before we can put it back on our menu; and those costs add up FAST for a small business.

I’ve made the decision that I don’t want to start this next chapter of Woof & Whisk buried in loans or credit lines just to rush the process. I would rather grow slowly, make smart decisions and build something that can last🤍 So when treats come back, our menu may be a little smaller and simpler but every recipe that makes the cut will be one we truly love (and your pups most ordered)!

And on a much less serious note… does anyone else still keep their recipes on actual recipe cards like it’s 1995?! 😂These little cards have been with me since I adopted Leila in 2021 and started making treats for her. They’ve been scribbled on, changed, crossed out and adjusted more times than I can count. Seeing them now while we work toward making Woof And Whisk official makes them feel a little extra special!🥹🐾

There’s a LOT happening behind the scenes….paperwork, ingredient research, recipe changes, laboratory testing and plenty of learning. It may be taking longer than we hoped but we’re not giving up. Gods got us! Thank you for supporting this small business while we build the foundation the right way. Every bandana, collar, share, comment and word of encouragement gets us one step closer to baking again! 🎉🥲

The treats WILL be back. We’re just making sure Woof And Whisk is ready for everything that comes next to go in your fav stores🐶🧁
