Ever heard of the 3-3-3 rule of adopting a dog (or cat)? The idea is that it takes a dog, at the very least, 3 days to decompress after adoption. Use this time to allow your dog to adjust to their new surroundings. The next 3 weeks should be used for bonding and training and the following 3 months for continued socialization and training. Get it? 3 days-3 weeks-3 months. IT DOESN’T HAPPEN OVERNIGHT!! Please don’t set unrealistic expectations for your new dog or cat (this includes puppies and kittens). Don’t commit to a new family member if you aren’t willing to put forth the effort with them.

Hello, my name is Fran Kramer and I started on this dog training journey because of my own experiences with my dogs and their behavioral issues. After a great deal of research, training and attending shadow programs with some very high profile trainers, I was able to establish a program that I found was easy to apply and worked very well for us. I am so excited to share what we have learned with as many dogs and their owners as possible, so that they can live a balanced and happy life. We focus on the fact that dogs and humans think and learn differently. Dogs need us to take the leadership role In the pack. If we don't, they will, and that leads to unwanted stress and behavior problems. Be the leader that your dog desperately needs you to be and let us help you get there!
