Did you know??

Articular cartilage (the cartilage that cushions each end of the bone in a joint) becomes filled with fluid during movement, forming a layer that cushions and absorbs impact. When the horse is standing for an extended period of time, some of this fluid is squeezed out of place, and the cartilage cannot perform it's shock absorption as well as if the horse was moving. Around 15 mins of walking is required to fully recirculate the fluid, so don't forget the importance of warming your horse up!

Did you know that a serving of outlast 30 min before exercise can help absorb acid in your horse’s stomach (acid sloshing around empty stomach can irritate ulcers while riding) I have learned this from Purina’s research recently and MAN has it made a difference in my horses! They are much calmer and happier- I highly recommend trying! Bye bye calmers and wet saddle pads! Hello to happy horse!
