We’ve been quiet lately, intentionally trying to slow down and focus on community outreach support.

But the truth of rescue is that so many dogs in need don't get the luxury of a break from their situation. And when we heard about Crunch, we knew we needed to help.

Meet Crunch. 🤎

He was dumped earlier this month. Good Samaritans recruited Tucker K9 to trap him, but when they found him, no trap was needed - he was begging for help and so happy to be near people! Bullies to the Rescue then stepped up to cover his initial vet care. Then one of our DBR fosters saw him and asked us to pull him. When there’s a committed foster, everything else has a way of falling into place.

Crunch is very sick. He is severely malnourished and anemic, has a terrible tooth abscess, elevated pancreatic levels, kidney levels are astronomical, he is heartworm positive, and will likely need a blood transfusion.

But as long as they’ll fight, we’ll fight for them.

Crunch goes to the vet Monday for a full treatment plan. Right now, we have $200 in our rescue account—and Crunch needs far more than $200 worth of care!

We said yes to Crunch. Now we need you to help us back up that yes. If you can donate $5, $10, $25—or anything at all—please do. Every dollar is tax deductible and will help us give Crunch the fighting chance he deserves.

Canyon is showing you his heart arms 🩷 why?! Well...

PLOT TWIST: Canyon Was Home All Along!

Two months ago, we excitedly announced that Canyon had found his forever family. Not long after, his adopters reached out and shared that they weren't sure it was the right fit. Together, we agreed that they would continue fostering him while we searched for the perfect forever home.

Well... sometimes the perfect home is the one you're already in. 💙

As the weeks went by, Canyon settled in even more, bonds grew stronger, and something amazing happened. The family realized they couldn't imagine life without him. What started as a foster arrangement turned into exactly what it was meant to be all along.

So today, we're thrilled to share the happiest of updates:

🎉 Canyon is officially staying with his forever family!

No new applications needed. No meet-and-greets. No searching. Just a wonderful family realizing that Canyon had already stolen their hearts.

Congratulations to Canyon and his family on their happily-ever-after. Sometimes the best stories come with an unexpected twist, and this one couldn't have ended any better. 🐾❤️

After a long wait and an unstable start to life, our sweet boy Mitch has finally found his forever family! ❤️ We are so thrilled for him and his new mom as they begin this new chapter together.

Some adoptions just hit differently. ❤️

When Ladybug came to Daisy Bean Rescue as a puppy with a broken leg, she was nursed back to health and eventually underwent an amputation. But her biggest challenge wasn't physical—it was learning to trust.

After a year and a half of patience, love, and unwavering dedication from her incredible fosters, I'm beyond thrilled to say... **LADYBUG IS ADOPTED!** 🐞

A huge thank you to her amazing adopters for trusting the process, allowing proper decompression, and setting her up for success.

Meet Derp Derp, a 2-year-old Husky mix with stunning ice-blue eyes, oversized ears, a one-of-a-kind smile, and a personality that’s just as unique as his looks.

His family loves him beyond words, which is what makes this decision so incredibly difficult. They are heartbroken to have to rehome him, but after exhausting every option, they’ve realized Derp Derp simply not able to live with other animals. He deserves a home where he can finally thrive and be completely himself.

✨ PUPDATE: Juniper ✨

While Juniper was waiting for her forever home, there were people online spreading lies about her — calling her aggressive and even saying she should be euthanized. But we knew the REAL Juniper. We knew the goofy, affectionate, fun-loving girl who melted into every person she met and deserved every chance at happiness.

And now? We got the sweetest pupdate of Juniper relaxing with her furry siblings in her forever home. 🩷 Nothing makes us happier than seeing our rescue dogs thriving, loved, and finally safe.

It’s heartbreaking that some people try to sabotage dogs like Juniper from finding homes, but we are so grateful for our incredible community and the adopters who choose to see the dog in front of them instead of believing internet hate.

For over 560 days, Daisy Bean Rescue has watched Ladybug grow from a terrified, injured puppy into the incredible dog she is today. After everything she’s overcome, we truly cannot believe she is still waiting for her forever family. 💔

Ladybug came to rescue after being hit by a car as just a baby and left without medical care for weeks. Her injuries were severe, and she ultimately underwent a leg amputation last year. But despite the pain and hardship she experienced so early in life, Ladybug has never stopped trying.

Now around 2 years old, Ladybug has made TREMENDOUS progress in her foster home in Clayton, NC. She’s goofy, playful, adventurous, and absolutely full of love once she feels safe. She loves exploring, walks, running around the yard, and bonding with her people. She’s especially treat motivated and forms incredibly deep connections with the humans she trusts. ❤️

Ladybug can be shy with strangers at first and needs slow, respectful introductions. She thrives with people who allow her to build trust on her own terms. But once she’s comfortable, she becomes the happiest, most affectionate little love bug imaginable.

Her foster says it best:

“Once she’s comfortable, she trusts you with her whole being.”

Sweet senior girl Millie needed a recent vet visit, and we are hoping to raise donations to help cover the cost of her care. Her total invoice came to $317.66.

Millie deserves every bit of love and support after everything she’s been through. Over 9 months ago, she was abandoned tethered outside of Charlotte Animal Care & Control and left wondering if anyone would ever come back for her. Despite that heartbreak, Millie remains one of the sweetest, gentlest girls you could ever meet.

She is currently being fostered in Clayton, NC, but what she truly deserves is a forever home where she can finally feel safe, loved, and cherished for the rest of her days. 🩷
