Register now — the 7th annual RescueMe 5K is coming to Belmont, NC on October 31st! 💚

Lace up, leash up, and hit the course alongside your pittie (or any pup who’s ready to run). This race is more than a good time; it’s a chance to raise awareness for PTSD and help fund service dogs for veterans through our Operation Sidekick program.

Costume contest, games, raffles, food and beer waiting at the finish line. Sleep-in supporter option available if you can’t make it out but still want to be part of the pack.

Frankie would like everyone to know that running is entirely optional. 😂🐾

At the RescueMe 5K, you can run, walk, stroll, or take your sweet time. Bring your friends, family, and four-legged running (or walking) buddies and come spend the day with us!

We’ll have food, games, vendor booths, family-friendly activities, prizes and plenty of fun along the way. 🎉

No athletic ability required. Just show up for a great cause and have a great time doing it. 💚

Every responsible dog owner starts somewhere. For a lot of our community, it starts with a pledge 💚

While APBF is dedicated to educating, advocating for, and saving the lives of pit bull type dogs, this event is about bringing our entire community together. Whether you have a pit bull, Chihuahua, Great Dane, mixed breed, or no dog at all, we'd love to have you join us.

Come run, walk, cheer, and help create a more compassionate world for pit bull type dogs and the people who love them. ❤️🐶

A mama pittie and her 4 puppies, who may be future Operation Sidekick candidates, need a temporary foster during this window. We already have a permanent foster lined up for mama and her babies once they’re ready to move to separate foster homes, but that foster has a pre-planned trip during this time, and we need someone who can step in short-term so we can pull this family from the shelter.
