We’re excited to announce that we’re starting Cooperative Care Training this June!
If your dog struggles at the groomer, has been turned away from appointments, or has a hard time at the vet, this program is designed to help. We focus on teaching your dog to participate willingly in their care, instead of resisting it.
This is a true give-and-take approach. Your dog will learn how to feel comfortable being handled by new people in new environments. We’ll work on safely and calmly handling sensitive areas like paws, ears, teeth, and both the front and back end.
Cooperative care is one of the most important skills you can give your dog—it reduces stress, prevents conflict, and improves their overall quality of life long-term.
We’ll be launching this program in June, and spots will be limited.

Starting at the beginning of May, we’ll have:
• 3 spots available for Day Training
• 2 spots available for Board & Train

Our day training program gives your dog the same structure and hands-on work as a board & train—just without the overnight stay. Drop them off, let us do the work, and pick up a more polished pup at the end of the day.

Champ has officially taken the plunge to join our behavior mod program this fear aggressive boy has a lot to learn about the world and has proven what he knows so far gets him into a lot of trouble.

He had a little incident that left his reputation permenantly tarnished but that's okay sweet freaky boy we will work on it!

Fun fact this is the second dog named champ we've trained with fear aggression/reactivity 🤨. Other champ also had a curly tail 😂

Welcome to our new Working Dog Program!

We’re excited to announce that over the next few months, we’ll be developing detection dogs alongside our new trainer. Jackson and Piranha have already begun training in different areas of detection, and Piranha will soon be starting Human Remains Detection (HRD).

Everyone, meet our newest trainer—Melina! 🐾
Melina is a graduate of Highland Canine School for Dog Trainers, just like the rest of the trainers we trust to work with our clients. She’s eager to jump in, gain more hands-on experience with behavior modification, and put her strong background with working dogs to great use.
As we continue working more with working breeds and tackling behavior challenges, Melina is excited to learn, grow, and—most importantly—get to work! 💪🐶
If you haven’t met her yet and would like to, give us a call—we’d love to introduce you. She’s also currently building her client skills and is excited to meet new people (and their dogs!).

Today kicks off the first week of our Day Training Program!
Day training is the perfect option if you don’t want to commit to a full board-and-train, but also don’t have the time for private lessons. Private lessons require a lot of hands-on time from you, whereas day training gives you the best of both worlds.
Simply drop your dog off, let us handle multiple training sessions throughout the day, then pick them up and practice a little homework at home. Repeat a few times a week, and you’ll start seeing real results—without the higher cost of a board-and-train program.
💲 $100 per day
📍 Statesville, North Carolina
🚗 Transportation available for an additional fee
Your dog will learn:
Obedience
Calm behavior in public
Off-leash reliability

Unfortunately, due to the rain, we’ll be canceling today’s pack walk (2–3 PM).
We know—that’s a bummer. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
If you missed your pack walk and still want to get out with your dog, we’re offering private trail walks all week. The weather is looking way better over the next few days—cool, comfortable, and perfect for getting some miles in.
So let’s not skip the exercise—your dog will love it, and honestly, so will we.
