DOG SOCIAL CLUB IS BACK! 🐕🍻

Yes, we ARE doing Dog Social Club tomorrow! 😂 Sorry for the confusion, the hiatuses, the rescheduling, and the general “wait… are we having Social Club or not?” energy lately.

We’ve been out of town, delivering service dogs, running all over creation, and quite frankly, things have been confusing for us too. 😂

BUT—we're back on a roll!

🐾 Social Club is BACK.
🐾 Pack walks are BACK.
🐾 Your regularly scheduled dog shenanigans are BACK.

So thank you for bearing with us while life was a little chaotic. ❤️

We'll see you TOMORROW from 7–9 PM at Ghostface in Mooresville!

Bring your dog. Bring yourself. Come hang out. We've missed y'all. 🐶🍻

Did you enjoy Valentine’s Day? 👀💕
Are you about to enjoy winter a whole lot less?

Because if you’ve got a baby on the way AND an unruly dog you’ve been putting off training… well, congratulations on both of your upcoming problems. 😂

But the holidays are coming, so why not give yourself the gift of a TRAINED DOG before you bring home a newborn?

Imagine your dog knowing how to:

🐾 Walk politely next to a stroller
🐾 Respect baby’s space and boundaries
🐾 Settle while you’re feeding or nursing
🐾 Stop jumping all over you while you’re holding a baby
🐾 Remain calm around crying and other baby noises
🐾 Exist peacefully around swings, bassinets, high chairs, toys, strollers, and all the other crap that suddenly takes over your house

And here’s possibly the best part:

Your dog can come stay with us for the first 3–6 weeks postpartum.

You recover.
You bond with your baby.
You figure out how the hell sleeping works now.
And you DON’T have to worry about meeting the needs of an unruly dog at the same time.

While they’re here, we’ll work on obedience, boundaries, household manners, stroller walking, settling, and baby desensitization so that when your dog comes home, you’re bringing them back into the new routine with a much better foundation.

Because your dog was your baby first—and bringing home your new baby doesn’t have to turn your house into complete chaos. ❤️

So if Valentine’s Day left you with a little surprise arriving this winter… maybe it’s time to book your dog’s Baby Board-to-Train. 😂👶🐶

Send us a message to get on the schedule!

🚨 DO YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW OWN A PEST CONTROL COMPANY OR HOTEL? 🚨

Well, that’s GREAT—because we want to come show you something pretty freaking cool. 🐍🐾

We’re currently offering FREE demonstrations with our bed bug detection dogs!

Our working dogs Viper and Jackson are training to detect the presence of bed bugs, and part of building strong, reliable detection dogs is getting them experience working in as many real-world environments as possible.

That’s where YOU come in!

🏨 Hotels
🪳 Pest control companies
🏢 Property management companies
🏠 Short-term rental/Airbnb operators
…and anyone else who regularly deals with properties where bed bug detection could be useful!

We’ll bring one of our dogs out with our working dog trainer, demonstrate how canine bed bug detection works, and give the dog valuable real-world training experience.

The demonstration is completely FREE—and while we’re there, you can have a room or designated area checked by the dog at no charge.

And yes, these dogs will eventually be looking for their own working homes, so if your company has ever considered adding a bed bug detection dog to your team, this is also a great opportunity to see one work in person!

🐾 Meet Viper or Jackson
🐾 Watch a live detection demonstration
🐾 Help our dogs gain real-world experience
🐾 Learn how a detection dog could benefit your business
🐾 FREE demonstration!

Interested? Send us a message to schedule a demonstration with our working dog trainer!

And if you know someone who owns a pest control company, hotel, property management company, or short-term rental business—TAG THEM! We need places for these dogs to put their noses to work. 🐕🔎🪳

🐾✨ MEET THE NEW KIDS! ✨🐾

Service dog school just got a whole lot cuter. 🥹🐕‍🦺

We are SO excited to introduce our newest service dog prospects joining The Perfect Pup:

🍫 Matilda — Chocolate Lab
🐾 Percy — Doodle Mix
💛 Darcy — Golden Retriever Mix

These three are officially beginning their journeys to see if they have what it takes to become service dogs! 🎓

They’ll start by building strong foundational obedience, confidence, environmental stability, neutrality around people and dogs, and learning how to navigate the big wide world like little professionals. As they progress, we’ll continue evaluating their temperaments and strengths before determining what type of service work may be the best fit for each of them.

Of course, being a prospect means exactly that — they’re candidates! We’ll be making sure service work is something each dog genuinely enjoys and is suited for as they grow and train. ❤️

For now, they have a lot to learn, a lot of places to explore, and probably a little bit of mischief to get out of their systems. 😂

Everyone say hello to Matilda, Percy & Darcy! 🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺

We can’t wait to see where their journeys take them. ✨❤️

🚨 FOUR. OCTOBER. SPOTS. 🚨

That’s right. Count ’em with us:

☝️ ONE
✌️ TWO
🤟 THREE
🖐️ FOUR!

We officially have FOUR Board-to-Train spots open for October! 🎃🐾

We’re looking for the meanest and the nastiest to come stay with us for Behavior Modification 😈 — or the sweetest and the unruliest to come work on obedience, manners, and becoming a slightly more civilized member of society. 😂

Reactivity? Aggression? Resource guarding? Absolutely losing your mind on a leash? We want ’em.

Or maybe your dog is just a lovable menace who thinks “sit” is merely a suggestion. We want those too. 😂

So, once again…

ONE. TWO. THREE. FOUR.

🐕 4 Board-to-Train spots available for October!

Message us to get your dog evaluated and snag one before they’re gone!

⭐️ LEAVE US A REVIEW! ⭐️

Yep, we’re asking. Shamelessly. 😂

If we’ve trained your dog—and only if we’ve actually trained your dog—we want to hear from you!

Tell us about your experience. Tell us how your dog is doing. Tell everyone how great we are, how much you loved us, and how incredibly cool we obviously are. 😎🐶

But seriously, reviews mean so much to a small business like ours. They help new clients find us, trust us with their dogs, and know what to expect when they choose The Perfect Pup.

So if we’ve worked with your pup, take a minute and leave us a review! ⭐️

Bonus points if you include a picture of your dog, because obviously we want to see them too. 🐾❤️

Featuring our most recent board to train graduates on their first go home lesson and of course the star of the show Auggie 🫶

Another SUPER cute service dog update! 🥹❤️

Nick had his very first staycation with his family, and we could not be more excited about how well it went!

Nick is our giant German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix who is training to become an assistance and mobility dog for an amazing young girl. And seriously—the two of them together are just the sweetest thing. 🥹

During his staycation, Nick was already performing some of the tasks he's learned and even started working on his positioning alongside her walker. Seeing all of that training start to transfer over to his future handler is such a special milestone.

She's so excited about him. He's so excited about her. And we're just over here watching everything start to come together. ❤️

These are the moments that make all of the training worth it.

YAY, NICK! 🎉🐕‍🦺

One very special dog getting closer and closer to being exactly where he's meant to be. ❤️
