I rescued Mia Pia Pumpkin Eater when she was a month old… and a hidden talents of mine is the ability to teach kittens to play fetch…

Tonight she reminded me that even though she is a tad bit older, and heavier … Ms. Thiccums if you will… she’s still got that dog in her… uh, kitten…

So JUST a little reminder from Wags and Wiggles… no matter how old we get.. we never have to lose the kid in us 🫶🏽

Okay… hear me out 👀🐾

What if Wags & Wiggles had a PET TAXI? 😂

Because apparently our pets have appointments, social lives, grooming schedules and obligations like they pay bills around here.

I’m tossing around the idea of offering local pet transportation for things like:

🐾 Vet appointments
🐾 Groomer drop-offs/pickups
🐾 Doggy daycare
🐾 Boarding drop-offs
🐾 Bringing your pet home when you’re stuck at work
🐾 Possibly staying through appointments when you can’t be there

Basically:

Your dog: “I have places to be.” 🐶 👀

You: “I literally have a job.”

Me: “Get in, we’re going to the vet.” 😂

This isn’t officially a service yet. I’m just trying to see if people in West Ashley would actually USE it before my brain turns this into a full business plan, buys matching supplies and gives the car a mascot.

So I need y’all’s input….

Would you use a Pet Taxi service?

And what would you use it for most?

Apollo said “hello 👋 I see you” from behind the glass like he pays the mortgage and I’m the one trespassing 😂

One of my favorite parts of drop ins is getting to know each pet’s little personality. Some greet me at the door. Some demand immediate affection. And some supervise my every move from a secure location like a tiny furry neighborhood watch….

Apollo takes his job very seriously…

If you’re already making plans for fall trips, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or just a much-needed weekend away, Wags & Wiggles of West Ashley is currently accepting holiday bookings!

I’m available for:
🐶 Dog drop-ins
🐱 Cat care
🐾 Feeding, potty breaks, playtime & snuggles
🐹 Small/exotic pet care
💊 Medication assistance when needed
🏡 Multiple visits throughout the day

I do drop-in care only, so your babies get to stay comfortable in their own home, surrounded by their own smells, beds, toys, and routines… while I show up to spoil them like they’re mine.

Holiday availability is limited and once my schedule is full, it’s full. I’m only one human with two hands and an unreasonable willingness to baby-talk animals. 😂

If you already know you’ll need pet care, now is a GREAT time to get on my calendar.

It’s been a really sad day for my family and I.. 💙

This morning, we had to say goodbye to our oldest baby boy, Joseph…

He went peacefully in our living room with the help of Lowcountry Pet Hospice, surrounded by his brothers and his two mommas. Safe. Loved. Home. Exactly where he belonged..

One of the hardest parts of loving animals this deeply is knowing we never get nearly enough time with them..

So from our Wags & Wiggles family to yours, hug your babies a little tighter today. Give them the extra treat. Let them take too long sniffing that one patch of grass. Tell them you love them one more time..

Because we never really know when the last time will be..

Run free, sweet Joseph. You were so very loved.. 🌈 💙🐾
