Meet Doody Recon
Who we are: 🐾
My name is Tracie. I’m a single mom of two super cool boys living in Fayette County, WV. We are blessed to be able to take care of my mom, making us a family of four. We are big time animal lovers with two dogs, three cats, and eight chickens. We love God and want to honor Him with how we treat both our customers and our employees. We do our best to care for what He cares about the most; that’s you!
What we do: 🐶
We serve the busy mom and dad who would rather spend their limited time at home with their family instead of cleaning their back yard. We serve people who have a hard time cleaning their yard due to health reasons. We serve anyone who would rather do anything else with their time other than clean up dog p**p.
Why we do the doody: 💩
We love hanging out with pups. We also love serving our community. P**p scooping is a service missing in our area that can be found in most other states. This way we can serve the community, play with animals, and support our little family all in one job. It’s a win win win!

Dog p**p can harbor some pretty nasty germs but with the proper equipment, sanitary practices, and attention to detail, the job isn’t that dirty at all. Everything we use is sanitized between each yard, even our shoes, and sanitary gloves are always worn during service. So yes, you can shake my hand once the job is done.
Where did the name come from?: 🇺🇸
Boys and p**p, it’s the funniest thing at this age. My youngest son came up with the name, the slogans, and the logo. Both of my boys are very proud of their dad, who is a combat veteran suffering from severe PTSD. They wanted our business to give honor to the military, raise awareness of the struggles veterans face, and give back to veterans who are injured through the Wounded Warrior Project, which we dedicate a portion of our earnings to every month. We also plan to have fundraisers for Wounded Warrior, the local VFW, as well as local animal shelters in our areas of service in the near future. (Keep an eye out for those and help us make a difference.)
