New faces, new personalities, new besties added to the roster. The Peace & Paws universe just keeps getting better.

Any dog walkers or pet sitters following me who AREN’T using a software system yet, let me put you on game.

I’m not perfect at this job, but after 16 years? I’m damn good at it and I’ve put in the years to be able to say that 100% confidently 🤌🏼

I’ve made mistakes, learned things the easy way, the hard way and the “well, we’re never doing THAT sh*t again” way 😂 because I’m human. But somewhere along the way, all those lessons became instinct. I don’t walk into a client’s home mentally running through a checklist or have to remind myself to check the gate, scan the street, watch my surroundings or think three steps ahead. (If I’m being raw and real I have forgotten to lock one door all 2026 and it wasn’t the front lol again I AM HUMAN! ) I just do it. It’s deeply ingrained in who I am and how I operate Peace & Paws.

And the coolest part is I’m STILL learning. Every dog, every client, every weird situation, every judgment call and every little “huh… noted” gets filed somewhere in the ridiculous database in my brain. Being good at this 16 years ago isn’t enough for me. I want to be better next year than I am today, because people hand me their keys, their homes and living, breathing pieces of their hearts and trust me to make good decisions when they aren’t there. I’ve never taken that lightly.

So no, I’m not perfect every day, but am I paying attention? Always. Am I still learning? Absolutely. And am I going to keep raising my own damn standard? Every single day.

16 years didn’t teach me how to be perfect. It taught me how much the little things matter.
