🐾❤️ Vet Tech Week Spotlight: Meet Emma!

Next up in our RVT spotlights is one of our newer team members who has already made a wonderful impression on the Valley West family — Emma Looney, RVT! 🎉

Emma joined our team in 2025 while she was still attending veterinary technician school, and she has continued to impress us with her knowledge, attention to detail, and dedication to providing excellent patient care.

Emma is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and always strives to do things the right way. Her commitment to learning and her thoughtful approach to patient care make her a fantastic addition to our team!

And here's a fun fact about Emma — she has a special interest in goats! 🐐❤️ While we spend most of our days caring for dogs and cats, Emma has a soft spot for our four-legged, hoofed friends!

Even though she hasn't been with us long, Emma has already proven what a valuable part of our Valley West family she is!

🐾 Thank you, Emma, for your dedication, hard work, and the knowledge you bring to our team! We can't wait to see all the great things you'll accomplish! ❤️

🐾 It’s National Veterinary Technician Week! ❤️

Behind every appointment, procedure, and recovery is a veterinary technician bringing skill, compassion, and a whole lot of heart to your pet’s care.

They monitor anesthesia, perform dental cleanings, take radiographs, collect lab samples, comfort nervous patients, and help families through difficult moments, often while sneaking in a little extra love for your pets. 🐶🐱

We’re so grateful for our incredible techs and everything they do!

Help us celebrate by leaving a thank-you or sharing a favorite memory of our team in the comments! 💬👇
