Named after female authors, the remaining two Granny’s pups, Shelley and Christie, are individually available for foster or adoption. They are sweet, gentle 5 month old lab mixes. Meet them at our next adoption event on Saturday, June 27, 12-3pm at PetSmart in Bristow VA.

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT - Ruby is 14 years old and, since November, has been an integral part of our young volunteer team at the adoption events! She found out about A Forever Home through a neighbor. She likes learning about different dogs, their behaviors and how to handle things like play biting. Ruby said she gets joy out of seeing the dogs get adopted and talking to the happy adopters.

Recently her family began fostering! Here is Captain! He is an affectionate 2 year old border collie mix. He is an incredibly smart and well-mannered boy. He learns commands quickly, he is 100% house trained with no accidents, and sleeps quietly in his crate through the night. With Ruby and her family, we know he’s well cared for.

Ziggy is a 3 year old beagle mix. Ziggy’s story starts with a highway rescue — he was found running loose on a busy four-lane road, but is currently on a cushy couch in a foster home. We are looking for his amazing fairytale ending in a permanent loving home. Adopt this sweet affectionate boy! [email protected].
