Some dogs come into foster care looking for a forever home. For Missy, her forever home was waiting for her all along.

From the moment she arrived, Missy captured her foster mom’s heart. What started as a temporary place to stay quickly turned into something much more special, and now we’re thrilled to announce that Missy has officially been adopted by the family who already loved her like their own.

From her new mom:

“I fell in love with Missy the second I met her. I knew from the first week that I wanted to adopt her. She goes everywhere with me and absolutely LOVES car rides and taking naps with me. She’s always by my side and loves to play! She’s the sweetest girl ever and loves everyone she has come in contact with.”

Stories like Missy’s are why we do what we do. A dog who needed a chance, found someone who couldn’t imagine life without her. Now she’ll never have to wonder where she belongs again.

Coco is officially with his furever family

His foster mom said as soon as she met them she knew it was the perfect home for him! That in itself makes the heart grow a couple sizes. It doesn’t change that fact it’s hard to let them go but, always remembering you were part of their journey to a happy and healthy life makes it a little easier.

We are so happy for you Coco! We cannot wait to see the biggie boy you will grow up to be!! 🩵

I can’t even take this. I’m sick. And here we sit on a new world screw worm order in PA where we can’t even help…which means our partners can’t help which means…..one damn thing can make so many lives not make it. Can we please get this worm under control so this many dogs don’t lose their lives next week. This was also with one less killing day than normal….PA PLEASE CHANGE THE RESTRICTIONS AND ALLOW A QUARANTINE IN ANOTHER STATE THAT IS OPEN OR ALLOW A VET CVI! We have others waiting in other states to quarantine for us! I just don’t understand how this is not acceptable!!! I’m becoming VERY FRUSTRATED VERY QUICKLY.

Today is the day we’ve been dreaming of for you.

Twinkles has officially found her forever home, and while there are certainly happy tears being shed, our hearts couldn’t be fuller knowing this sweet girl is exactly where she belongs.

From the moment she arrived, Twinkles captured hearts with her gentle spirit, loving nature, and constant desire to be close to her people. She never asked for much…. just a little love, a little reassurance, and a place where she could finally feel safe.

Her foster said it best: “She is a good girl and deserves a dedicated home that will love her and make her feel safe. I am truly happy for her.”
