September is Animal Pain Awareness Month, so today we're sharing some common signs that your pet may be experiencing discomfort or pain.
These symptoms, especially in combination with each other, should be investigated further to ensure your pet is living their healthiest, most pain-free life as possible! 😊🐾

If your pet is displaying these signs of pain, please contact your veterinarian to schedule an appointment.

September is Su***de Prevention Month. 💜

Losing a pet can bring an incredibly deep kind of grief. They are part of our families, our routines, and our everyday lives, and adjusting to life without them can be difficult in ways others may not always understand.

This month is a reminder that grief deserves support, too. Give yourself permission to feel what you are feeling, lean on the people around you, and reach out when you need help.

We also recognize the veterinary professionals who help families through some of their hardest moments. Caring for animals while supporting families through loss can carry an emotional weight of its own.

Whether you are grieving a beloved pet or work in veterinary medicine, support is available:

• 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline — Call or text 988
https://vist.ly/5htpd
• Not One More Vet (NOMV) — Mental health resources and peer support for veterinary professionals
https://vist.ly/5htpi
• Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement (APLB) — Pet loss support and grief resources
https://vist.ly/5htpf

Check in with yourself. Check in with the people around you. Reaching out for support is always okay.
