As I've last updated I was hoping things would be settled enough to get orders back up and going - I currently am still a few days out from that as I still don't have computers up and running. No computers, no shipping labels. Please bear with me for a little longer! Orders will be coming - I promise. This was just a much bigger move than expected! ❤️

Just a production heads up. I'll be taking some time off around Thanksgiving this year. I've posted it on the order pages that any orders placed between November 23th through December 15th will be delayed. You can still put in your order but I will not be able to fulfill it until after December 15th. I am extremely grateful for all your orders and happy to have your patronage to help your local squirrels!

On a separate note, due to working full time with another job, in order to continue to provide the freshest squares I am only able to make these on weekends now. Orders for the week close Saturday evenings and go out Monday mornings.

Small production update:

I will be out of state 6/29-7/5. But, never fear! For a summer job, my teen has decided she wants to take over production.

It's quite a learning curve and she has been sticking it out wonderfully. So if you get any added bonus art to your invoice - you can thank her.

Also, I had to update shipping costs. I have been taking a loss on the shipping for a while. Prices for the squares are still the same - I'll continue to keep them there as long as I can hold out with the rise of prices. I've fortunately been able to find sources for my fruit that isn't too much more than what I had been able to buy and I am always looking and purchasing on deals and specials to keep my costs down. My heart is with helping you help your squirrels.

Working as fast as my hands can this New Years! Not sure what happened - but I received a LOT of orders in the last few days. Very thankful for all the work! Now I'm just requesting a touch of patience!

As you know the newest variant is quite contagious and at my work we've been having a lot of people calling out sick (including bosses and a lot of flu too!) I seem to be the only one who hasn't been affected by any of it. No flu. No cold. Nothing. However, to make sure this stays this way, I do have to draw a line in how many orders I process so I can get sleep to stay well! So orders are going out 5 at a time until I'm caught up or have more than 1 day off from my other job!

On the happier side: because of your orders, I shared your blessing with another family this Christmas and helped a family stay in their home after the husband had back surgery and everyone caught covid. Reaching more than just squirrels! Thank you for letting me make that miracle happen for them! :)

Thank you all for your continued purchases. I just want to notify you that due to both the holiday season coming up with a major increase in online shopping due to Covid, and the USPS experiencing many delays - you may find your packages are getting delayed a bit, from what I'm told it can be anywhere from 2-5 days.

Please keep an eye on your tracking and please reach out to me for any significant delays and I thank you for your patience during this month. Don't worry - even with delays, your squares will be just fine. Freezing is only suggested as a step to increase the shelf-life, but you're more than likely to run out of squares well before they start losing their nutritional value.

Please note: USPS changed their shipping prices again.

I did have to change the single samples price by $.50 to break even - BUT if you purchase both samplers, I left that price alone - so you can save $1 if you use the 'both samplers' option in the drop down menu if you're still looking to try them out.

After a rough weekend of moving - I am finally able to start shipping again! I apologize for the delays on orders from 10/9-10/12 - I was still quite knee-deep in moving boxes! But I'm back up and running!

Also - for any of you who like to decorate with squirrels, Yankee Candle just put out an adorable squirrel diffuser! Thought I would pass along that information. ;)

A small production note. Last night I took a fairly nasty spill when moving the squares to the dehydrator. Long story short: I broke a finger on my dominant hand. So please bare with me as I try to navigate this process with fingers bound and wrist in a brace. Just need a bit of grace these next few days! Thank you!
