LAST DAY AT PETSMART IS SUNDAY THE 31ST!🚨 APPLY TO ADOPT!📢

Not one application for Mango or Asher....😭 Poppy had 2 pending applicants at one point but neither ended up adopting😕 MJ had an approved adopter, but after the meet and greet, made the decision that MJ was a little too shy for his home environment🥺 Mouse also has not received ANY applicantions all month which is absurd because Mouse is literally perfect!😣

All of these adorable kitties are still available for adoption, but only at the Mattoon PetSmart until this Sunday!

If they are not adopted, they will be brought back to our rescue building in Assumption (which is nearly a 1hr car-ride for them)🙁

Five adorable young adult cats are hanging out at Mattoon PetSmart for a few more days, patiently waiting for someone to fall in love with them. 🥹 They still have plenty of playful kitten energy, with the bonus of already knowing a thing or two about being excellent roommates AND having top notch manners. 😻 Stop by and meet your new best friend before they head back to our headquarters (where we are bursting at the seams 😅)! 🐾

At last count, we still have 1️⃣5️⃣ precious kittens who are on the edge of their tiny seats, waiting to find out who they are! 👀

Donations to name them go directly to spay/neuter them! This eliminates many risks to their health AND stops the reproduction cycle that results in compounding suffering for the cat population. It’s amazing how much good can come from one little kitten name! 🙌🏼

After 66 intakes since April 1, our intake is completely closed. We have no wiggle room whatsoever until we fundraise more! Our fosters are full and so is our shelter!🐈 We have TNVR’d 19 cats!

We have to slow way down and focus on what we have in rescue, and to be honest, we are going to have to fundraise like crazy to make up the money that is needed to pay to spay/neuter the colony kittens in our care as well as continuing to TNVR😺 We also need a new AC unit in our building and have some repairs to do!🔨

We have 41 kittens, this is $3465 in spays and neuters, not including vaccines, dewormers, flea treatment/prevention, medication, any veterinary visits, food, litter, etc🔬💉

If you’re a local veterinarian who is interested in hosting TNVR spay days with us, please reach out. We need all the vets we can get!👩🏻‍⚕️

Does anyone have any folding tables they are willing to part ways with and donate to the rescue?👀

Our farmers markets will be starting again here in June and we currently only have one 6ft folding table, so we could desperately use at least 2 more (any shape/size works)!😬

We decided to ask here first before attempting to purchase one ourselves, as they are quite pricey brand new😅

Hoping someone has an old/used one laying around that they don't need anymore and are willing to rehome🤞

Here are ALL of our available Petsmart cats! They can be seen in Mattoon, IL.

Adoption fees are 💲5️⃣0️⃣ to get these sweet kitties into their forever homes, and Mango’s is actually sponsored, so no fee for him!

All of these cats are so deserving of a forever, loving home. They’ve all been around dogs, other cats, kids, and rabbits. MJ is a little shy, but he warms up with snacks! The rest are so social! 🐱

Please don’t make them come back to the rescue to sit and wait where there are less eyes on them. Petsmart months our are BEST time to have our adoptable cats to have the greatest chance of going home with someone. There is a lot of good traffic, which is why it’s the best partnership! 🐾

You save two lives by adopting. The one you take home, and the one who takes that open spot in rescue after. Help us save more lives. 🐈🤍

Adoptable at Petsmart‼️ Asher🧡

Asher is another precious orange kitty current adoptable at the Mattoon Petsmart! Asher will only be here until Sunday, May 31st, then will travel back to our Assumption headquarters building if not adopted!😭

Asher came in as a surrender with Mango and both have honestly handled the transition so well! Asher is the sweetest boy who loves to explore and play! He actually stole a string toy off the table while I was cleaning his cage and ran off with it in his mouth😹

Asher is estimated to be 2-3yo, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, flea treated, and FIV/FELV negative! He grew up around both kids and cats and does great with all!🫶

Help us find Ashers furever family before Sunday!🤞

Mango came to us as a surrender due to no fault of his own! His adoption fee has been sponsored by a wonderful individual that fell in love with him at Petsmart but can't adopt him herself! She said he was so sweet and affectionate, wanting constant pets and attention!🥹

Mango is aprox. 2-3yo, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, flea treated, and FIV/FELV negative! Adoption fee is fully sponsored as well so all he needs is an approved adopter to take this handsome boy home!🥰
