The best dog, the dog I didnāt know I needed when I got her. The dog I didnāt tell my husband I was getting.
Got me through the most exciting times of my life and also some of the worst times in my life.
this morning wasnāt what I was prepared for, I donāt think Iāve ever been prepared for losing my baby and my best friend. She will be so missed by Kolton and I. our first dog, the best dog we couldāve ever asked for!
She did give us multiple gifts in our life. one of them we get to cherish and hold tight tonight as we process her passing- Tilly. Weāre very thankful for Tilly, and also our Izzy girl.
We will be cherishing our two girls tonight.
bedtime will look a little different tonight. Iāll call for her out of habit Iām sure. But there wonāt be any little pitter patter down the hallway with her holding her favorite toy as we go to bed. I might be able to move my comforters a little more tonight, but I wonāt be happy about it. Kolton and I always wondered how a 25 lb dog could take up a whole king bed and all the blankets but she could and we loved her for it.
She mightāve only had one good ear, but she had my whole heart. ā¤ļø hold those mea puppies a little tighter tonight. I know Iām gonna be holding mine. The one thing that brings me a little comfort is she will be with my favorite Shih Tzu Molly up there. Iām sure theyāre having a great time.
