Snapped this photo of Miss Kiara earlier today and I'm just in awe. There’s truly something about a Doberman’s stare that’s hard to put into words. It’s intense, focused, and almost human like. Those dark, soulful brown eyes can go from fiercely protective to incredibly soft in a matter of seconds. Just one of the many things I love about this breed!! Love this Beautiful girl.🤎🥹

I have been dreading making this post, for so many reasons, the main one being the feeling that once I post it, it makes it all real and I wasn't sure that we were ready to handle that but I also feel that we cannot begin to really process this until we do.

This past Friday there was an accident and we have lost our beautiful girl Orla. I truly don't even know how to put into words how absolutely devastated and gutted our family is. Our dogs are our babies, It truly feels like we have lost apart of our family. I would never wish this pain on anyone. We are still trying to catch our breath as we process our life with out her. The whole house is grieving. Our dogs especially, Neala has been spending time in all of Orla's favorite spots just laying there, she has just finally starting to eat again. You can tell she is missing her sister as are the other girls.

Orla Róisín Meek, our very first Doberman. The start of our love, fire and passion for this breed. Our salty and sweet princess, the most beautiful girl, The bestest girl, My thunder storm buddy, Mrs. Serious, Miss O, Our baby. I hope you knew how much we love you and how much you truly changed our lives. I hope you are chasing so many frogs up there baby girl. 4 years was not nearly enough time with you. I promise to continue sharing all of our favorite stories of you. Forever our girl, we love you Orla. Until we meet again.❤️
