Some rescue partnerships become so much more than a partnership. They become people you’re genuinely grateful to have beside you.
We are incredibly thankful for Freeman Fritts and Kerrville Pets Alive and the way they have stood beside us and our dogs.
Freeman Fritts has helped us provide veterinary care for so many dogs, helped us find resources, and has always been patient with the dogs who need a little more time, understanding, and someone willing to meet them with calmness and kindness.
Kerrville Pets Alive has been right there with us too, helping with medical expenses, helping us find veterinary care, working alongside us, and most importantly, standing beside us in the effort to save the dogs who are most at risk.
Rescue can be exhausting, overwhelming, heartbreaking, and sometimes just plain crazy. There are so many days when there are more needs than answers. Having people who are willing to step in, work together, and help carry some of that weight means more than we can put into words.
We’re grateful for every dog we’ve been able to help because of these partnerships, and for every life we’ve been able to fight for together.
Sometimes gratitude is so big that you find yourself wondering how you could ever give back enough. We feel that way about both of these incredible organizations.
Thank you for believing in the dogs. Thank you for believing in us. And thank you for being beside us through this crazy, beautiful life of rescue. ❤️
