Ellington Suburban Farm We’re the Whitakers in Celina, TX, turning 3,000 sq ft, half our backyard, into a tiny suburban farm. Our goal? Grow fresher, healthier food right at home.

🌿 Soil test results are in… and it’s officially Texas Gumbo.
Sticky when wet, hard as a brick when dry, and packed with minerals — very on-brand for North Texas. 😅

The good news? Nothing is broken or toxic. Our soil just needs compost, the right nutrients, and time to become garden-ready. This is our Year 1 baseline, and we’ll test again next year to see how far we’ve come.
