🤍October Update🤍

Hi everyone. You may remember little screech, the kitten we posted that needed FIP care. Unfortunately he did end up passing away, less than 3 days after starting his treatment. His brother Lucas ended up getting FIP, and again passed less than 3 days after starting treatment. We are heartbroken, but we remain strong for the remaining 3 that are still health and thriving! (Available for Adoption😉)

On the more positive side, little Eggo is doing amazing! He is moving around like a normal kitten, playing, and even jumping onto the bed. He is such a sweet boy, just needs a bit of socialization to get that outside kitten nervousness taken care of🥰

We are at an all time low for donations towards medical care and currently are at a stand still for being able to pay our current bills, schedule spays/neuters, cover all medical care for our intakes, etc. We are also at an all time low for adoptions, meaning we have been having to say no to a lot of intake inquiries💔

💔DONATION PLEA💔

We’ve been waiting to introduce Mama Pinta and her litter of 5 because they have been quite sickly for the majority of their lives thus far. The sickest little one has been silly little Screech. They were all taken to Coyne St John this week and we received news we never wanted to hear….

Screech is most likely FIP positive and needs to start medication ASAP to save his life😔 One vial of meds is $195, not to mention the exams, other antibiotics they’re on, anti-diarrheal, eye drops, etc from the vet AGAIN. Today we also found out they have roundworm and will all need to be treated with revolution plus.

If you’ve considering donating to us in the past, please consider donating TODAY! We need to raise at least the $195 to buy Screech’s FIP meds and get him started immediately.

❤️🧇Eggo is home!!🧇❤️

🧇Eggo is finally home after a long day at the vet clinic. His surgery went smoothly and there were no complications! He returns in 10-14 days to get his sutures removed, and then his healing will really begin🤍

For now, we are focusing on keeping him comfortable, clean, and showing him what love feels like❤️‍🩹 Eggo is a very nervous boy and definitely seems to have lived outside for his entire life this far. We are working on socializing him with us, but he seems to love other kitties already!

Once he is ready, we will be getting him fixed, vaccinated, and everything else he might need to keep on growing stronger and healthier🥳 To donate to Eggo’s care, the link to his go fund me is down below. Eggo is currently at Veterinary Orthopedic Center getting prepped for his amputation! Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers, this little kitty needs it!

❤️‍🩹Meet Eggo…
Eggo was first found with exposed bone covered by hanging flesh outside with his siblings. He was finally trapped late yesterday, and he is being treated at Coyne St. John for his regular care. The amazing team at Veterinary Orthopedic Center are willing to perform his amputation at a reduced rescue rate!

PLEASE consider donating!! We are currently drowning in medical expenses for all of our intakes. Treatments, procedures, exams/recheck exams, etc. Eggo is going to have a long road of recovery ahead of him, and a very expensive one at that. He will be getting his surgery at The Veterinary Orthopedic Center, where donations can be made directly, or we also accept Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal.

Introducing Tootsie🥹🩷

Thank you to our partner, Kyla’s Helping Paws Inc. for welcoming this singleton kitten from a home we’re currently assisting through our TNR efforts in Gary.
