Hi, I'm Catherine, owner and baker of Bastrop Barkery!

I started this business in October 2023 because I wanted to give our fur babies access to the same fresh, wholesome ingredients that we enjoy.

Like many pet parents, I don't just see dogs as pets—they're family. They're our four-legged children, and they deserve the very best.What started as a passion for healthier treats has grown into a business that allows me to share that love with fellow dog moms and dads. Every batch is made by hand, from scratch, using locally sourced, high-quality ingredients and plenty of love.

One of the best perks of owning Bastrop Barkery is getting to meet so many amazing pups at local markets—and let's be honest, getting paid in puppy kisses and tail wags is a pretty great job perk! I may have started a dog treat business, but I think I secretly did it for the opportunity to pet everyone's dogs.

So bring your furry best friend by, say hello, and let them sample a treat. I can't wait to meet you both (and yes, I will probably ask to pet your dog)!
