Did you know Facebook has made it so small businesses can no longer post direct links to their websites? We get 3 per month. That's it. Whether it's a post or a comment.... you get 3 measly chances to make a direct sale... OR you could pay an absurd amount of money to post 20 links a month - so not even 1 a day.

It is so sad what greedy corporate hands are doing to small businesses. Large businesses don't rely on Facebook for getting new customers. They can pay for ads all over... it's us small people that rely on finding our customers on social media and in person events. I am going to try to use my personal account to comment on posts with links, but I'm not sure if that will work. Otherwise, you may just have to type in the website yourself and I won't be able to direct link you to certain products.

Does anyone have any ideas outside of Facebook?

We will be doing this sale a little differently to ensure items get mailed out promptly and all claimed items get paid for. I will be uploading all the items to my website and at a certain time make them available. I haven't decided on the time yet. You will be able to view items as I upload them, but you will not be able to purchase until October 10th! (It will say out of stock).

This is a new way I'm trying out drops because the wall claims on FB never give me notifications and then sometimes I'm left with unpaid invoices when someone else may have actually purchased the item. Also, some of my people are only on Instagram and I want them to be able to get in on this sale!

Sale time TBD, but let me know if you want a tag 😉 I'll be making posts throughout the week so hopefully this lands in everyone's view at some point.

Please interact with this post if you see it to help my small business 🫶🏼

Lancey Pants is out on a walk this morning and loving the fall weather! He made sure to wear his fall collar and changed his leash to more fall colors 😉

Our leashes are made from paracord, which is super strong and resistant to mildew. They are also conversion leashes - meaning you can use it as a slip or regular clip leash. For only $25! They can be made to match the colors in your collar as well (as close as we can get at least) or any 2 colors you want!

Some of you may remember this post from April about a wholesale order for another local dog product business...
I trusted this business and didn't take the payment up front because I wasnt sure how many collars I was going to get out of the fabric I was ordering for her.

I made every design except the football one, myself. I spent my time making the designs and HOURS in this order. I spent over $300 just in supplies because she also asked for extra fabric to make her products...

After the order was completed, I tried contacting her. No response. Tried another method, got a response. Asked for payment. Nothing. Stops responding then finally responds their account got hacked and they were at the bank and would get me payment the next day. Nothing. And then no further communication. I sent emails. I tried messaging from my personal page and my business page (because they previously claimed they could not see the messages from my business). This was another small business locally that I've done events with and trusted to fulfill their end of the order. Never again! 🙃 Lesson learned.

All wholesale orders moving forward will collect payment ahead of time and get refunded if for some reason it ends up costing less (sometimes this happens depending how custom the wholesale order is).

I've waited months to make this post hoping the other business was just going through a busy season and wouldn't do me dirty like this - but alas, here we are.

These collars are all available. 1" 14-22" buckle collars. Discounted to $16+ shipping because i just want them gone at this point. (Usually $22).

Let me know if you want one or if someone is interested in the wholesale, message me for pricing.

Thanks to the true customers. ✌️

Event announcement!

I will only be doing 2 more in person events this year. One is this Sunday at our favorite dock, catskill_mountain_k9_sports! We will be there until about 1pm (may need to leave a little before then, so stop by the table by lunch time!).
The other event is A Big Gay Market 🌈 |📍Upstate New York which I'm looking forward to!

We were supposed to do the Catskill Halloween Market at Blackthorne this year, but have decided not to attend. The multi-day, long hours markets are just too much for my autoimmune stuff. It leaves me feeling very unwell and it's just not worth me trying to recover for a week.

But don't worry, even though these are most likely my only 2 in person events left this year... that just means more online premade sales!!! This Sunday evening, I'll be posting all the Halloween premades I have left after the dock event!
