WHISKER WEDNESDAY!

Cats may have a reputation for being independent, but that doesn’t mean they don’t need attention while their humans are away!

A pet sitting visit can include:
Fresh food & water
Litter box care
Playtime & enrichment
Attention and companionship
An update so you know how your kitty is doing

And, of course, sometimes our job is simply sitting nearby while your cat decides whether we’ve earned the privilege of their attention.

Did you know goats have rectangular pupils?

Their unusual pupil shape gives them a wide field of vision, around 320–340 degrees, which helps them keep an eye out for potential predators while they’re grazing. Even cooler, their eyes can rotate as they move their heads, helping those pupils stay aligned with the ground!

Thoughtful Thursday: What Does Your Pet REALLY Need?

Our critters may not be able to tell us with words, but they’re constantly communicating!

A wagging tail, a favorite hiding spot, sudden zoomies, following you from room to room, or even a change in their normal routine can tell us a lot about how they’re feeling.

Today’s challenge: Spend 10 extra minutes doing something your pet loves.

Take a sniff-filled walk
Break out their favorite toy
Try a little enrichment activity
Or simply sit together and enjoy some extra cuddles

Sometimes the smallest moments mean the most to them. 🐾
