If I had a spot for haul-in appointments for PEMF, how many of my former clients would be interested? Our farm is less than 1 mile from I-5 in Castle Rock and can accommodate large rigs up to 30’.

I am also curious about our local need for a lay-up facility for long-term rehabilitation for equines. From open wound care to in-hand rehabilitative exercises with regular visits from various body workers and a chiropractor. Full care option only (local grass hay, Timothy, and/or alfalfa provided) with owner provided supplements, supplemental feed, and prescriptions. Longest term of care would be 12-18 months. Rates would be variable depending on care required and length of stay but starting at $1500/month. The rehabilitation process would included veterinarian approved PEMF, in-hand exercise, daily turn-out, over sized (16x16) stalls, and mud-free shelter logics with runs. All designed with the idea that movement is essential for the healing process. Injury dependent, of course.

We are still working on property improvement, so I am gaging interest while we work and modifying accordingly. I’ve had the pleasure of rehabbing two degloving incidents over the last year or so and realized I enjoy being a hermit but miss rehabbing. 🤣

My brain still doesn’t work like it used to but I haven’t lost my ability to help a horse.

I hope everyone is well!

I want to start off by saying thank you to all the people that supported me at the start of this journey, through the years, and while I have been on a hiatus.

Unfortunately, I will not be returning to work. Acclimating to my new normal has been bumpier than I anticipated. The brain is such an interesting, complex organ and, unfortunately, the brain damage I have sustained throughout my life caused an epilepsy condition and has left some rather large gaps that make it difficult for me to continue in a professional capacity.

I will miss each and everyone of my wonderful clients. This is been an excruciatingly emotional decision but is most logical for me at this time. I still have hope that my noggin will recover and I can return to a “job” I loved. In the meantime, I will be enjoying the time with my family and chaos critters; as well as continue to adjust.

Update and some good news.

I had an appointment with my neurologist today. He decided to increase my anticonvulsion medication and that is going to take a bit of an adjustment period.

In the meantime, I will be working on my equine rehab continuing education and getting my business license back in order.

In November, I will be making another post to open my books for scheduling appointments starting in January 2026.

The post will include changes made to my policies, travel fee, scheduling process, and a few other items that require revision.

With my health issues, my service animal will most likely be accompanying me to appointments. If that is not an accommodation you can make (totally understandable), I will also be opening my farm for haul-in appointments.

Thank you all for your understanding, patience, and well wishes during the chaos. I appreciate you all more than you can imagine. This has been a very difficult year for our family. I am excited to get to a new normal.

Loss of independence is the WORST.

A little update for all my amazing clients that aren’t yet fully aware. I have been experiencing seizures since November 2024 and was recently diagnosed with epilepsy as a result of permanent brain damage from traumatic brain injuries (both horse and military service related 🙃🤭). I haven’t been driving and I have an amazing group of friends and family that are willing to chauffeur me around so I can still enjoy riding.

Unfortunately, I won’t be back to pulsing for a while. Even with the anti-convulsion medication, which seems to be stopping the seizures as they start (🥳), my short term memory has really taken a hit. Recalling information or explaining what I already know has become difficult with severe consequences. It is frustrating but I want to be at my best before I continue to help my favorite critters feel their best.

I appreciate everyone’s patience while I work through this bump in the road and I hope to be back at it in 12-18 months. That is my goal and hopefully my brain cooperates.

It took 3 years of blood, sweat, and a few tears to get Itsnota Farm Pulse Therapy where it is today and I wouldn’t be here without all of you.

Missing you all and all the healing vibes.

🖤🖤

Hello friends! I had another absence seizure today. 🙃 We have an EEG scheduled tomorrow. I will continue to be out of commission until we get to the bottom of it

Unfortunately, I experienced more absence seizure episodes yesterday. I will be closing for business until we get to the bottom of my own health issues. Thank you all for your continued support and understanding.
