It’s still deshead season yall! Summer is here! Dogs don’t sweat. They regulate their body temperature by air blowing through their coats. Dogs can easily overheat with compacted coats or matting.

This is Chili! He is a 10 year old German shepherd at the Casa Grande Animal shelter located downtown right across the train tracks headed south.

I did a mercy groom for Chili today for free to give him a medicated bath to help soothe his skin irritation.

Chili is available for adoption. He is working through some skin issues. He is being treated for Demodectic Mange it is not contagious to other pets or people. The symptoms include dry skin and hair loss. He has improved drastically since being on medication.

Chili is very kind, sweet, and gentle. To the caring family that adopts Chili you will receive one FREE grooming with me after your adoption!

UPDATE: Poppy just got adopted!! I huge thank you to this community for sharing the post and helping Poppy find her forever home!! Keep an eye out on my page more dogs to come looking for their forever homes! This is what community is about! Let’s help these animals and empty out the shelters! 🙏🏼😭🥹🐾🥰🥹

This is Poppy! She is a sweet gentle and kind little girl! She is 11 years old and she is genuinely the sweetest little dog! She gets along great with all of my dogs! She’s about 17lbs!

She is currently up for adoption at the valley humane society! I did a mercy groom for her today for free in hopes that she will be adopted. Please like and share this post to spread the word in hopes that she will be adopted soon 🥹🤞🏼

She would be great for someone that is older she is low energy and wants to just sit on your lap all day and get cuddles! She would be great for a teacher or someone that works all day. She’s comfortable being in a kennel while you’re at work because she already spends her life in a kennel at the shelter. Poppy came to the shelter with a sibling that was a puppy. Her care giver at the shelter said she was very sad when her companion was adopted but that also didn’t dim her sparkle! When Poppy was dropped off for grooming today she was so happy and galloped inside to get her grooming!

Anyone that adopts Poppy will receive their first grooming with me for free!!

If anyone is planning on getting their dog groomed the first week of June I recommend booking for this week. I will have only 2 days available for appointments the first week of June.
