Looking for qualified, loving homes. Some experience required or at least some proof of research and willing to work with us on proper care. As we get ready to move our facility out of state, it's in the best interest of some of our critter buddies here to find new loving homes. Rehome fee applies and will go towards the care of the other rescues we house with us.

🦎❤️ Meet Ponyo!
This beautiful bearded dragon was found on the side of the road after apparently being released into the Arizona desert. 😔
Bearded dragons are native to Australia, and a domesticated beardie released into the Arizona desert likely wouldn’t have survived for long. Extreme temperatures, lack of appropriate food and water, and predators can make the desert a dangerous place for a pet.
We brought her back to Animal People, gave her a much-needed soak, treated her for parasites, and gave her some time to recover.
And we’re happy to say… Ponyo is doing AMAZING! 🥹💕

Never release a pet into the wild. Even animals that come from a hot or wild environment may not be equipped to survive on their own after living in captivity. If you can no longer care for an exotic pet, reach out to a rescue or experienced keeper. ❤️

Hi Animal People family! ❤️

We wanted to check in and apologize for being a little quieter than usual on Facebook, Instagram, and our other social media pages lately.
As many of you know, our family is preparing for a big move out of state while also navigating the next chapter of Animal People. Between packing, planning, and caring for all of our animal ambassadors, things have been a little overwhelming.
Unfortunately, we've also had to place many of our programs on pause due to USDA regulations. This wasn't a decision we made by choice, but one we had to comply with. While it's been disappointing, we're choosing to look ahead and remain hopeful that we'll be able to continue our mission in our new home once we're able to meet all of the necessary requirements.
Our passion has never changed. Animal People has always been about educating others, inspiring compassion for wildlife, and giving rescued animals a chance to make a difference through education. We can't wait for the day we can fully return to doing what we love.
To everyone who has followed our journey, attended a program, shared a post, donated, or simply sent words of encouragement—thank you. Your support means more than you know.
If you'd like to help us during this transition, one of the biggest ways you can make a difference is by sharing our GoFundMe with friends and family. Even if you're unable to donate, helping spread the word brings us one step closer to rebuilding Animal People in our new state.
