your pet's been scratching more than usual lately, they're not alone this time of year. Allergies, fleas, dry skin, and even food sensitivities can all show up as itching, and it's easy to write it off as no big deal. But constant scratching can lead to hot spots, skin infections, or hair loss if it goes unchecked.

A few things that help: regular and consistent flea prevention, a good quality diet, and catching the trigger early. If your pet just can't seem to stop scratching, it's worth having us take a look!

Here is a simple rule before every summer walk: press the back of your hand to the pavement for seven seconds. Too hot for your hand? Too hot for your dog's paws.

Burned paw pads are painful, and dogs will often keep walking even when they are hurting. Stick to early morning or evening walks and save everyone the trouble! 🐾
