This is a very special day. It's our 5 year anniversary! We celebrated last Saturday with a volunteer appreciation dinner at Loren & Mari Mexican Grill in Carmel. Guadencio and Rosa took excellent care of us and the food was amazing! Our volunteers aren't just volunteers, they are our family. Without them, we wouldn't be able to do what we do. In the past 5 years we have made many partners in the community. PrintJax provides all of our awesome marketing materials that set us a part from other rescues and organizations. Pet Supplies Plus - Indianapolis, Indiana - Lawrence and Merciful H.E.L.P. Center donate the majority of our food and pet supplies. VCA Companion Animal Medical Center provides our senior dogs and cats with the best possible care! In our first 5 years, we have provided a safe haven for 28 dogs, 43 cats and we've had 20 adoptions. We are proud of these numbers!!! We've done all of this with 1 main foster home. And the population we serve is a hard one, as a lot of people do not want senior pets. Our future goals are to own property so we can provide a safe haven for even more senior dogs and cats! So raise a 🥃 and help us celebrate our success!!!!
