Louie graduated from private lessons - can you tell how happy he is about it?!?

Louie started a few months ago for overstimulation / over excited biting when people came in the door. He didn’t know what to do with himself so his idea was to chomp. He has finally learned that there are other ways to self regulate - such as playing with toys - and calm behavior means he will get attention! He also learned that when his brother is done playing, it is time to leave him alone.

Bulldogs are always so fun to work with - when people ask me what the hardest dog is to train, my answer will always be bulldogs. Especially English / Olde English. Bulldogs are stubborn and hard headed and often have a “what’s in it for me” type of mentality; if they don’t want to do something, then they simply won’t, and good luck trying to get them to do it! However, these guys always have the funniest, most elaborate personalities!

A little meme to start your Saturday!

I often get asked what I see most of the time- and it’s dog reactivity. Many of these dogs in this video have come a long way, but the work is not done yet; so be on the lookout for their transitions on living a happier and less stressful lifestyle soon! Most of these clips were taken from their evaluation day.
