Meet Oakley the Dog, affectionately known as "Grey" from the Jinx family. Born and fostered by -Big Cypress German Shepherd Rescue- in Naples, Florida, Oakley has grown from rescue pup to reliable companion. Now proudly serving alongside Blacksand Tactical and Mark “Elsaid” Oakley, Oakley plays an active role as a trusted team member—always ready to assist wherever he’s needed.

REMEMBER K9 R***R

K9 R***r served the citizens of Lee County from 2010 until 2019. He was the loyal and faithful partner to Sergeant Dan Scowden.

K9 R***r and Sergeant Scowden completed hundreds of searches for fleeing suspects, public demonstrations, and explosive searches.

In 2019, R***r was awarded K-9 Officer of the Year by the Lee County Rotary Club. He was commended for his outstanding service to the community and relentless work ethic following a serious injury.

After twenty-five years with the K9 Unit, Sergeant Scowden unexpectedly passed away in November 2020. K9 R***r went on to retire and live with "Daysi". She provided him with a loving home and amazing retirement until his passing.
