🐾 A Bittersweet Update From Me 🐾
This is a post I have honestly been dreading having to make.
After a lot of thought, I have made the difficult decision that I will need to step away from grooming for a while. I will be completing all grooms that are currently scheduled for the remainder of August, but after that, I will unfortunately not be able to continue maintaining my current grooming schedule.
As I begin my practicum for my master’s program while continuing to work full-time, I have realized there simply are not enough hours in the day to give everything the time and attention it deserves. Since I am the only groomer, I don’t have anyone to pass appointments or clients along to, and I have reached a point where I have to make the decision that is best for myself and my family.
Please know that this decision has absolutely nothing to do with how much I love grooming or your babies. ❤️ I have truly grown to love each and every one of your fur babies—the sweet ones, the sassy ones, the dramatic ones, the wiggle-butts, and even the ones who may not exactly consider grooming their favorite activity. 😂🐶
Thank you for trusting me with them. That trust has always meant more to me than I can put into words. I have loved getting to know their personalities, watching them grow, and building relationships with so many wonderful families along the way.
My hope is that this is not goodbye, but simply “see you later.” I am scheduled to graduate in May 2027, and I truly hope that after graduation I will be able to open my grooming schedule again and welcome some of my favorite furry faces back through my doors. 🎓🐾
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this causes, especially to those of you who have trusted me with your babies for a long time. This was not an easy decision, but right now I need to give myself the time necessary to finish this chapter of my education, continue working full-time, and still have time to be present for my family.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me, trusting me, recommending me to others, and allowing me to love on your fur babies. Being their groomer has truly been a privilege, and I am going to miss them more than you know. ❤️🐾
Hopefully, after graduation, the clippers will come back out. Until then, thank you for being part of this journey with me. 🐶✂️🎓
